Dolphins Sign Tommy Streeter

interesting he went to the U. as I remember he was a burner. nice size too. but just a camp body I think

he was on our practice squad last year for part of the year

Why can't a WR with Tommy's speed and height not win a starting job in the league?

Amazing. Must not be able to develop all aspects of his game or must be pretty dumb.

There are plenty of guys with similar speed & height, and can't even make a NFL roster. Like Roberto Wallace and LaRon Byrd. Some players aren't good at learning a playbook, running clean routes, gaining separation, or catching the ball in traffic.

He's actually very intelligent. I'm pretty sure he graduated from Miami when he declared for the NFL as a redshirt Junior and I seem to remember him having a 3.8 GPA in high school.

His issue is he can't run crisp routes. He doesn't have good change of direction skills and he has terrible hands, not a natural pass catcher. He really needed to stay another year to work on his game...same could have been said about most of the guys that left after Al Golden's first season at Miami but they all jumped ship. Tommy Streeter, Lamar Miller, Aldarius Johnson, Brandon Washington, Marcus Forston, Olivier Vernon...all should have come back for another year...Miller and Vernon are the only success stories of all those guys and it still took them some time.

Streeter main and only issue I see from his days at the U and his limited NFL play time is his hands. He's a vertical threat, not much of a route runner so he is limited to the go-routes.

The guy is tall, burn speed, stone hands.

in before Hayden tells us Parker's foot is about to fall off

Parker's foot was bitten clean off by a Gator in the Everglades.

Seriously, it's going to be OK. I think Julio Jones of the Falcons had a similar procedure, and he was good as new after sitting out.
