im just pissed at the situation. I would rather move larsen and give asiata a shot

He is supposed to be awful

I would look really hard at identifying the best 5 at this point. I hate position changes as much as the next guy but Larsen is getting eaten alive out there. I’d try to get him to Center, where I hear he’s better, or off the field. There were 2 plays where mentally he identified a stunt but physically couldn’t do anything about it. I’d be more optimistic if it were the other way around.

I haven't ever heard a single good thing about Wesley Johnson. I still think we shoulda called Jon Gruden and tried to find out if he would have traded us a starting guard.

Certainly does not inspire confidence. Came out of college as a 5th rd pick in Pittsburgh, but waived before the season. Picked up by the Jets, played a couple of years before being let go. Picked up by the Lions and waived at the end of training camp this year. Played collegiately at Vandy, so I assume he is pretty smart. But smarts don't always make up for a lack of ability.

Here's a little tid-bit that should make everyone happy:

Head coach Todd Bowles named Johnson the starting center ahead of Jonotthan Harrison.[17] He started the New York Jets' season-opening 21-12 loss at the Buffalo Bills. Throughout his first seven starts, Johnson was ranked the lowest graded center in the NFL by Pro Football Focus. He allowed 11 quarterback pressures and earned a 96.6 in pass block efficiency and finished 27th out of 35 qualifying centers. His 36.3 run block grade was 34th out of 35 centers. Johnson earned an overall grade of 36.0 which ranked last out of all 35 centers through the first seven regular season games.

I expected to have some twists and turns this year but I never expected to see Wesley Johnson suiting up for Miami. Things can go sideways pretty quick in a NFL season. Good luck to the young man.

Yep! Because, teams are lining up at this young point in the NFL season to trade "starting" players especially along the OL. Sure...David!

He's the backup at this point to Swanson. And most likely only until Brendel is healthy. I'm not that upset by this move. What more is really out there?
