I wonder why NFL teams don't sign dudes that are 7'1. Throw up a jump ball in the end zone and I'm sure it'd be easy to score.

Amazing he got a tryout based on his zero receptions last year.
4 year totals 10 receptions 100 yards and 3 tds.
Good 33 percent TD ratio.
He has decent athleticism for his size and is considered a decent blocker but don't really think you can use a roster spot on a guy this iimited in football ability.
Might be worth a look on practice squad. N Illinois doesn't really use their TE much although you would think if he was really good he would have been used more.

I've always wondered that as well. Anyone who saw the Eagles old receiver Harold Carmichael knows it would work.

somebody would take their legs out with 1 hit. I don't think those basketball guys can handle being hit like they would be in the NFL skinny legs

looks fast for a big man... I really wanted Raphael from UM to make this team at 6'9, but this guys looks less raw. I'd love to have a huge target at TE on this team.

i don't mind it. i'm glad they're looking for options in the red-zone, and if who knows a lot of the tight ends these days are succesful more or less on their athleticism and size over their football abilities...they tend to have the easier job being primarily covered by linebackers or safeties over top corners.....i wouldn't put much hope into it but he's a big boy who looks to be pretty fast

There was a 6'11" kid that played at the Military Academy signed by Philly as a UDFA recently if memory serves. I don't think he made it through TC.

Say you have a 4th and goal at the 1. Your running back is 7'0. All he has to do is reach over the goal line and it's a TD.

I'm not talking about Shawn Bradley or Manute Bol. Shaq O'Neal or David Robinson is more of who I'm thinking of.
