Minkah had a higher percentage of snaps than the week before.

Grant also had a higher percentage of plays this week

Baker not getting much work. Noticed him a few times when he was in, especially when the announcer confused him for Godcheaux on a nice TFL. One was a pass rush where he just played patty cake with the LT.

McMillian playing every snap. Still not sure hes got the quicks, coverage or blitzing skills for passing downs but they obviously like what they see. Or dont have other options at this point.

Speaking of snap counts it seemed like the jets knew ours. They were firing off the ball before it was snapped most of the time.

He makes the calls on the defense and they do like him. He is still trying to get his feet under him after not playing for a year, but he is doing enough to make those around him better

They ran "big" nickel for much of the game which would be McMillan and Kiko at LB

Pleasantly surprised how well that held up. Obviously could afford to give up some yards underneath but it wasn't the unmitigated disaster some thought it could be.

Did anyone else notice Gore looking somewhat upset about coming out of the game a couple times at least?

Dont really blame him, he's played well and on a few occasions would I have preferred he get the ball over some other play choices.

He hits the hole like a cannonball - honestly haven't had that in Miami since RW. Definitely more effective than some other run plays but also have to be careful about his usage. There will be games down the line where we will really need his ability between the tackles.

Yeah he does - there is a complete and utter lack of BS in his running style.

I agree, we telegraph the count something fierce with Davis looking back for the signal from Tannehill and then waving his hand to tell Kilgore to snap it. Kilgore waits 1 second and snaps it.

That is of course the downside to the shotgun on the road.
