In a recent article posted on profootbaltalk.com there is evidence that the Bills and Patriots will kickoff MNF this year.

Now I can see the Patriots being on the first MNF game this year because of the return of the leagues poster boy Tom Brady. But come on the Bills, the only reason they are there simply put is because they signed T.O.

Wouldn't it be a much better story if Tom Brady and the Pats were returning to Miami to take on our beloved Fins in a game that could be touted as a "Pats vs Fins in the new battle for AFC East supremecy".

Instead its "Tom Brady returns to *****slap the Bills, while waiting to see how long it takes T.O. & the Bills to implode"

Thats what signing T.O can do for you.

The plus is it buys you a couple of extra Season Tickets, jerseys and 1 or 2 prime time games.

The negative is now the whole world is watching your every move. Their QB better be ready for Prime Time, because if he is not, the whole world will be watching you slowly implode as T.O has done to evey other team he has been on.

I don't mind being the underdog one bit, but a little respect now and then from the league would be nice.

It's all about the T.O. saga and ESPN's love affair with the Patriots. I think the Bills are more concerned with being in the spotlight now than winning. By the end of the season they'll find themselves in a familiar spot: the AFC East cellar; and T.O. will be demanding yet another trade.

I mean I'll watch that game but I don't care that the Phins aren't playing that night. A game is a game, they'll be played either way.

I don't know about the rest of you but I like every game at 1 pm EST.....11 am here in Colorado. :woot:

I like my brunch and bloody marys right at kickoff.

I get the Sunday ticket, so I get to see the games every week. I prefer if they play at 1pmET every week… So I don't have to sit around twiddling my thumbs waiting for the game to come on. But that's just me being selfish. I'm sure the Fins will get at least one or two primetime games this upcoming season…. Didn't the Browns have like 5 or so last year?

That's because they want to welcome back poster boy with a easy win as opposed to getting punched in the mouth by the Dolphins which Tommy still has nightmares about frequently.

I think it depends on how you interpret the reasoning for the matchup. Everyone knows the Bills haven't beaten the Pats in what 5 years? Everyone knows the NFL has a stiffy for the Pats. What a better way for the Pats and Brady to start their 09 season than with a sure win on National television?

I think Pittsburgh/Miami will be a Sunday Night game

Or at least I hope it is, I want a Sunday Night game in Miami so bad

so you have to have a cancer to be on primetime huh?

being a quiet professional counts for nothing

Nah I doubt he even thinks about Miami, he probably thinks about the real AFC contenders like Indianapolis, San Diego and Pittsburgh.
