Since 2015: The Miami Dolphins are 2-10 on Nationally Televised Games, and it was awful before then. This is more than a trend, as it has occurred during multiple coaching regimes. Many of these games were not on a short week, so that's no excuse. Why do the Fins always falter when given a chance to shine? Any theories?

Thursday we will be without RT17-Wilson-Stills, etc, etc, so it's not looking good. I often see these games on the schedule and predict an "L" for that fact alone.

Most of the games are away and the dolphins struggle on the road. This will be the 3rd consecutive Thursday night road game for the dolphins and 6 of the last 8.

we beat down NE last year on Monday Night Football. I think this is just because we suck mostly... dont over think it.

It's on Miami to identify the problem and fix it. Not so different that scoring on your opening drive.
Don't look to see either one fixed any time soon.

#1 We've been a mediocre team for years.
#2 Hate using this, feel like we always play TNF on the road where we already suck.

Because despite the incessant demands for respect before each season, the Dolphins have not been a good team for well over a decade now.

I think it's because we always come out of the gate late and usually spot points. We also play to win it late and that's tough to do in away games and big spotlight games where tension is high. Have to put this on coaching be it scripted plays or prep.

They seem to be consistently out coached.

Other teams coaches and PLAYERS get very up for nationally televised games,

that really dramatically accentuates the fact that the fins are usually outcoached to begin with.

My 2nd theory is that the strippers in Miami are so much nicer than the rest of the US that the players are basically exhausted or mostly distracted

ESPECIALLY when they have a lead or when they are behind...

which means basically all the time. :devilish:troll

For me the question isn’t why we simply lose in nationally televised games, but rather why we get thrashed.
