Get used to it. It has been the norm around here for the last couple of years.:err:

As he watched his defense get ripped for 433 yards, including 300 in the first half, Dolphins coach Adam Gase was startled by the number of missed tackles. Many of those came early in the game with the first-string defense on the field, and Dallas’ starting running back Alfred Morris picked up 85 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.
“We need to improve in that category,” Gase said after losing 41-14. “It surprises me a little bit, just considering how much time we spend on tackling and some of the drills that we’re trying to do. We need to clean that up. We’re doing the right thing in practice, and then we’re kind of reverting back when we get on the field.”

Alfred Morris beasted on us. He would have had a 200 yard game if this were a real game. We have no answers as far as run defense.

Vance looked like he didn't know what to do on the sidelines...he looked in over his head. I think he is a smart man who can make adjustments, but I don't think we have the chess pieces to to anything about it. Linebackers do not have the fire, the "want it" to be top level players.

Kiko may be done. I need to see 3 or 4 games of him though before I can really judge him. He may not suck, but if he's just another guy, then we've lost. We need a BALLER at Mike, not someone who tackles guys 8 yards down the field like Wheeler.

He needs to really understand how bad the talent on this team is and start cleaning house now!

It wasn't only the tackling. It was also the overpursuits. And I have no idea how the holes got that open at times. Just horrible

No gap responsibility! Nobody maintained leverage. Everyone seems to want to shoot a gap and make a big play, but they are just breaking down the scheme...they don't get it...

Bad habits die hard. I agree that Kiko may be toast. I hope Culliver can get and stay healthy, and I hope that Miami can bring him back in 2017. Miami needs to spend resources at DE and LB in the off season. Once Tunsil fell, he had to be the pick, but last night highlighted why we needed a LB like Darron Lee. I don't think our LB's have the range to allow Joseph to sit back in a 2-deep look.

Dan Campbell was right to make the team do the Oklahoma drills. Let's run them again. This team is soft.

It seems our scouts want to draft everybody based on measureables...I have one..."Can they tackle?" How about that scouting office? How about actually getting in some players that actually HIT somebody. Even when they make the tackle...they are really just "dragging them down"...nobody is "delivering a blow!"

The defense has to be rebuilt

IF Gase can get the offense rolling than Miami can have a Jacksonvillle type offseason where it's all defense

how many years is it now where we have to watch our LBs tackle runners forward for an extra 3-4 yards. So painful.

I think that was the plan as soon as this offseason ended and they used so many draft picks on offense. Next year a lb in round 1, and cb in round 2, or vice versa. The sad part is we are still going to have to either spend some money in FA or use high draft picks again to fix this OL.

Another problem is we gave away pick on next year's draft so resources won't be as many as this past off season. We needed to draft a guard plus lots of defense THIS past draft but we didn't. There were plenty of top guards in free agency but we didn't want to pay. Instead, we got 3 cheap guys that were coming back from injury for the oline. Why not take that money and get a real guard in here? Tunsil will start at LT next year if not before(Albert looked horrible last night)and now we're back to needing a guard, besides the LB's and corner so it's back to the same **** again.

Ozzy rules!!

Luckily Miami will have über amounts of cap space.
