The Miami Dolphins have 10 remaining free agents; five unrestricted and five players released. Unrestricted free agent S Lance Schulters heads the list of remaining free agents

wonder if he will resign with us....
 
I hope we re-sign Schulters!! I remember Brock Marion was a UFA too, he visited with the Browns, but then eventually re-signed with us for 5-years. I hope the same happens with Lance!!

He isn't coming back. It has been said that they have a mutual agreement that they are going separate ways.
 
There was an article on the front page saying that Lance will not return to Miami. I think he has already signed with Seattle or at least is close to doing so. Anyway, thanks for that win against Carolina Lance and for your other 15 games of service as well.
 
yah it has been said that schulters is not coming back. he must not fit the type of dback that we want. that is why we signed hill and the other guys.
 
We sure could use him. Re-sign Schulters and draft Whitner... We'd be set at safety, and after all our secondary wouldn't look so weak afterall.
 
Why other than money could be the reason I don't know. He was a very good FS in this system. Perfect size, made plays, and could tackle pretty well. He took risks and was burned a few times but he was a huge improvement over 03 Marion and his ridiculous Pro Bowl nod and Freeman in 04.

with all of the signings and poole coming back, i think the secondary is pretty well set.
 
The 5 UFA's the team still has are

Lance Schulters, S
David Boston, WR
Nick Rogers, LB
Jason Glenn, LB
Lester Towns, LB

I don't see any of them coming back especially before the draft
 
Schulters wont be back. His agent said so. If he doesnt want to play for us then i wont miss the guy. Thats football.

Hey, I listed the five UFA's above, but now that I've had time to review things the only five players I can find which we've outright released are Junior Seau, Reggie Howard, Sam Madison, Tebucky Jones, and Damian McIntosh.

Howard signed with Carolina, Madison with the Giants, Tebucky Jones with New England and McIntosh re-signed with us. That only leaves Seau.

Are these the five you were talking about? Only one left??

An interesting side note. Between the UFA's and cap casulaties we are dropping four LB's, Seau, Rogers, Glenn, and Towns. Of course we still have Thomas, Crowder, Spragen, Pope, Moore, and have added Hodge. Also on the roster are Mike Libinjo (???????) and in NFLE, Matt Sinclair. Looks like we will be adding a couple of guys either through the draft or undrafted free agency. Then there are still the Lavar Arrington hopes...............
