Dolphins Tender 4 E.r.f.a. Players

It seem like Woodard might be good pass rusher. maybe Wake might have been working w him last yr. I didn't see how he did against run. good news.

Why do they keep on wasting money with Asiata is beyond me. Agree that Woodard has a real chance to help us out.

I'm surprised to see Asiata re-upped, and happy to see Jesse Davis is going to get a chance with new teachers. In the end these are likely just placeholders until we complete the roster-turnover of this year and next year, but hey, we need young players so why not give them a chance.

Forgive the dumb question, but why is Asiata an ERFA? Is it because we cut him last season so it voided his rookie deal?

He cost next to nothing to keep on the roster as an ERFA. You’re right though he has been disappointing. I thought he was going to be a steal when we draft him. Dude was a mauler at Utah.

Starting to worry me like Dallas Thomas did before we released him.

Entire new staff .I trust their judgement.

These kinds of actions may give us some insight as to what positions the new staff is beginning to focus on. Keeping three lower level offensive linemen one defensive guy makes me thing we will be going heavy on defense in this draft.

Yea, I know these guys happen to be our EFRA's, but I'm grabbing at anything that may show what the Head Coaches plan is this year with our players. We can't replace the entire team at once!

They'll be camp fodder.

Maybe just wanted to give their due diligence and tie them up until they can properly evaluate them. That would be the smart thing to do. The new coaches haven't been here long and are probably still in the process of evaluating the starters, deciding who to keep and who is expendable. Working their way down the depth chart from top to bottom.
