Dolphins & the U

Not much corn being grown in the dade county area. Why pick up a speed player which miami is usually known for when you can get a slower but corn fed player from the midwest

wasn't gore a 2nd or 3rd? id take stephen morris before jacory harris..
Carey was good at the U just avg in the pros..
We could have had shockey this year :p
i think people are forgetting impact player ED reed when was he drafted?

Gore was 3rd round coming off an injury

a miami hurricane has scored at least one touchdown in the NFL for the last 140+ straight regular season weeks.. as tring that dates back to like 2002 or something.. ridiculous stat.. also, the U has more active players in the NFL than any other school.. and the U has been a very mediocre squad for the last 7 seasons or so.. imagine if they had been recruiting and developing the players correctly (a major issue for the priogram IMO, im hopeful that golden will right the ship)..

Im sure we looked into drafting some of them, but they probably werent willing to take a pay cut to play in the same city.

Lamar Miller is going to be a beast. Kid reminds me of CJ Spiller.

Because the talent level at the U has been in a decline for several years and those that have been drafted were not what the Phins were looking for. The exception IMO is Graham who was a project that I wished the spent a 4th rounder on. Looks like he is going to work out well.

Although only seeing Lamar Miller once, my initial impression is that he may turn out to be the best back the U has put out in quite some time. That kid has high level NFL talent written all over him.

um, did i just read this thread right? someone complaining about us drafting zach thomas????? what in the hell?? i mean dont get me wrong, i know ray lewis is one of the greatest LBs of all time but to complain about us taking Zach thomas is absurd. Miami loved zach thomas, he brought alot to this team and im sure JJ doesnt regret doing what he did.
