Dolphins To Collect Hurricane Relief Donations, Honor “Everyday Heroes†At Season Opener On Sunday

In this time of great need, the Miami Dolphins are using their season-opening game on Sunday, September 11, to support the Hurricane Katrina relief effort, while also honoring America’s “Everyday Heroes.â€Â

Terry Saban, wife of Miami Dolphins Head Coach Nick Saban, will spearhead a collection effort that will include Dolphins Cheerleaders, Alumni, staff, and players’
and coaches’ wives, as well as employees from DHL and Publix. The volunteers will be accepting monetary contributions outside all Dolphins Stadium entrances on Sunday to aid and assist the people of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
