Dolphins to open season at Home

While it doesn't say for sure that we will open at home, they said to expect it. Also, they said Miami will probably have a Monday Night Home game in December.

When has Miami not had to open the season at home? Seems like they always open the season at home every year. Same thing with a Monday night game in December. ABC loves the warm weather games and they love coming down to Miami where it is warm all year. That would sure beat calling a game in New England in December where the temperature averages around 8 degrees up there. Those are two gimmes every year.

Dolphins won't choke, they will just lose cause they're not good enough, like they did 5 times last year.

They played away in 1999 and 2001 to open the season. The beat both the Titans and Broncos.

Kinda depends on the year, I guess.....2003 = Monday Night loss to Philly, 2002 = Monday Night win over Chicago, 2001 = Monday Night win over Indy, 1999 = Monday Night loss to Jets, 1998 = Sunday Night loss to Jets, Monday Night win over Denver, 1997 = Sunday Night win over Detroit, Monday Night loss to New England, 1996 = Monday Night win over Buffalo, 1995 = Monday Night win over KC, 1994 = Sunday Night loss to Buffalo, Monday Night win over KC, 1993 = Monday Night loss to Pittsburgh, Monday Night loss to San Diego.....and so on and so forth.
