this by Forbes. I think Steve bought the team for about $1 billion and has now invested $.45 into renovations. So based on that valuation he is still in the plus $400 mil range as far as equity. Plus Pats are at $3 bil. If this team starts winning and in a few years Ross will make like a bandit.

I think Steve Ballmer paid $2 billion for the LA Clippers. A team is worth what a person wants to pay for them, not what Forbes says they are worth. By the way, who is the Steve you are referring to? Stephen Ross? :confused:
