The Dolphins are currently holding a somewhat disappointing eigth place in the ranking Best NFL franchise ever on rankopedia. The leaders are the usual suspects: the Green Bay Packers, the Cowboys and the 49ers. The Dolphins are only a few points away from the 7th spot.

Unfortunately the Phins have done nothing in recent history to be any higher than that. Flat out dissapointing franchise of late.
 
the only team ahead of them that i dont agree with is Denver.......
 
Guy the trick to get our guys/teams to move up in these polls is to vote for our guy but then vote for 2 very low ranked answers (even if you disagree). Just voting for Marino in the QB poll but also voting for those ahead of him won't help him in the poll. Gotta vote for two throw away QB's down the list. Same goes with the NFL franchise. Pick Detroit or Tampa Bay don't vote for Dallas or GB or SF or it won't help the Dolphins in the poll.

I can't figure out how the San Francisco 49ers can be ranked that high....they were absolutely horrible before they started winning championships in the 1980's. At least the Packers, Steelers, and Phins have been great for more than one ten-year period. Dan in the top two QB's of all-time is fine with me....Montana had better support.
 
They were the team to bring the term "dynasty" into popularity... they have more Super Bowls than any other team... and two Hall of Fame QB's among the best to ever play the game, THE best receiver to ever play the game... it makes sense to me.

Granted... I LOOOOVE the Dolphins, but you have to admit... despite some down years, The 49ers have some of the most storied history.
