Hey guys, I'm a Dolphins fan living in western NY, Buffalo Bills country. and i can tell you from personal experience, that the Bills fans DEFINATLY consider Miami to be their biggest division rival. Ive been to three Bills Dolphins games before and i got tickets for the sold out opener this year, i am stoked. But from the Bills fan side of things, they hate us a lot more than we hate them apparently. Im always heckled, thats expected, but last year i was harassed into a fight, they don't take too kindly to my dolphins gear.

The bills always play us hard, it doesn't matter how good or bad they are or seem to be!!! This should be a great game

Back in the days of Jim Kelly , Bruce Smith, Thurmon Thomas and the gang. The Bill were serious rivals. I laughed when Bryan Cox gave Bills fans the middle finger. There isn't any love lost between the teams and fans. That a win over the lowly Bills is still a very sweet win for me. Just saying. :chuckle:

This used to be a HUGE rivalry and it still is a rivalry, but not a big one. They might consider us their most hated foe, but I think the Dolphins most hated at the moment is the Jets. We hate the Patriots also, but even during their Super Bowl runs, Miami usually could pull off at least one win a year against them.

All I remember is that Nate Clements raped our offense everytime we played the Bills. He owned our entire team.

Before Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith and Thurman Thomas made the Bills perennial AFC East & AFC champs the Dolphins completely dominated the Bills for decades.

I grew up watching the Bills beat us, but I guess the old timers might remember the pre Kelly years. I think the weather is also a factor. Those people probably hate us because we get nice warm weather and beaches and they get subarctic gales.

This year doiesn't look good for the Bills though. I still don't understand why they hired Gailly. I think the guy who got fired was a better coach than Chan.

Been There Done That!!

I used to love that rilvalry with the Bills in the early to mid 90's!!! Kelly vs. Marino!! Unfortunately for us,they had Thurman and we had the fumbler Sammie!!!! But I went to four games up in Buffalo and those fans truly hate the Phins and their fans!!!I was challenged frequently at every game!!The worst being a punk throw a peanut at me and hit me in the eye!!!! I had to get eye drops and my eye watered the whole game. I got the punk after the game but police showed up and separated us!!The best game being in 1992,when Louis Oliver stole the show and picked off Kelly 3 times in a rout of the Bills 37-10!!! It was awesome!!! I have to give it to the Bills fans...they're diehards and that stadium is buzzing when they play the Phins and creates a great atmosphere for football!!! I wish I could go there every year!!
