In no way am I saying the Chargers and Dolphins offense are on the same level, but after 3 games (everyone knowing the Chargrs start slow) they are extremely similar, Thomas putting up basically the same numbers as Matthews and Matthews with 4 more carries, Jackson and Marshall nearly identical in yards and same amount of catches, Bess and Matthews same receiving yards, and the real surprise Henne and Rivers same amount of TDs and Rivers has 25 more attempts, Henne leads all QBs in rushing, and if you think about it Marshall has dropped 2 Henne TD's, but as it stand Henne 4 TDs 3 INT's (1 of which was on desperate last play of the game, other coming when Hennes arm was hit) and even with those, Rivers has 6 INT's, imagine Henne had those stats 4TDs 6INTs this place would be killing Henne more than normal, I know it comes down to wins, Chargers have been fortunate enough to play the Vikings and the Chiefs, and lost to the Pats by 14, and guess what the Dolphins lost to that same Pats team by 14

No way im comparing Henne to Rivers, just the teams as a whole look earily similar RIGHT NOW, im sure the Chargers will rip of 4 wins in a row once the calendar changes to October, but for the now the Phins are playing them in September which gives them a chance....

you realize i posted this exact same post don't you?

If i realized you posted the exact same thing i wouldnt have posted mine, when i originally started the thread yours wasnt there, i thought it would have been merged or deleted by now, no big deal

No, they aren't similar at all. The total production may be close, but they have VERY DIFFERENT philosophies. The Chargers push it down field much more than the Dolphins. We have a short passing game, where they tend to go long. There running game is based on a lot of draws and delays. We tend to have a move conventional approach.

The Dolphins have used Thomas the exact same way, it seems almost every one of his carries come out of the shotgun handoff or draw

here is something else eerily similar....

vonte may be out
jammer may be out

mathews has foot prob
thomas has hammy prob

WR's playing hurt as well as rivers. chargers pretty banged up. got to hit rivers a couple times. not in the head. thats a penalty.
