ProFootballTalk: Report: Bears-Lions, Dolphins-Cowboys on Thanksgiving https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...bears-lions-dolphins-cowboys-on-thanksgiving/ Still remember that thanksgiving game in ‘93 like it was yesterday.
Everyone outside Miami, and probably here too, is asking why. The answer is that the Cowboys need to play an AFC team, and the only other one on their home schedule is Buffalo.
Why do they need to play an AFC team? This past season they played the Redskins and the Lions played the Bears. They were all NFC teams. It doesn't matter now that CBS and FOX can show any game regardless of the conference or who is playing at home or on the road. CBS televised the Bears at Lions game this past Thanksgiving.
I probably will if the season goes the way I think it will... Don't need to ruin my Thanksgiving watching a blowout.
Given what we’re all expecting this season, I’m pretty sure I won’t be paying close attention. It’ll be on in the background and I’ll have my Fins gear on, but I’m not letting these dipshits ruin my Thanksgiving lol.
