(1) Beat heck out of our hated rivals on national TV.

(2) Hoping for a good game but a close loss would be best.

(3) Jets blow out Dolphins and humilate Tony so a move is made now.

(4) Whatever , I'm just numb and I've lost interest.

What would you like to see on Monday night vs. the Jets ?
And why.

It may be just instant gratification but I hope this team comes to play and beats up on the Jets.
They need to take all the frustration and mishaps and put them aside for this one game.
I think we deserve that and let Tony go out with a bang.
We play Buffalo , New England and the Jets in the last four games. I'd like to beat them all and throw the afc east into turmoil. Plus by then we should have a new coach and he can set a tone for the next season. This means a 4 and 12 record and still high enough in the draft to get a franchise QB.

I hope that during the ESPN halftime show I will get to hear Chris Berman discuss upset victories by the Vikings, Colts and Rams.

The dolphins are not going winless this year, I see 3-6 wins. So i can hope for 1 against the Rival and still be on the "bandwagon"

lose as many games as possible this year, even if it's the Jets.

Don't worry, we'll own the Jets for the next 15 years while we have Andrew Luck under center. This year will be long forgotten over the next 15 years.

During the Marino years, or even in 1982 and 81, I never once thought about the disappointing 1980 season.. and neither did 99% of the fanbase at that time.

Suck 4 Luck is serious business that is not to be messed around with, Go FULL THROTTLE or not at all. Every loss is essential and paramount as this team will lose any tiebreaker with the other schlep teams competing for the 1st overall pick. So the Dolphins MUST pile up losses like it's going out of style, with no reprieve. Even if it's the Jets ~ just for this year

BTW, who cares if we lose to the Jets anyway. It's not like the Jets will be going anywhere this year with that current team they have this season. Let the Jets fans have their little bragging rights on beating a winless team for a week. We'll have bragging rights over them for the next 15 years. Big Picture people. BIG PICTURE !

Keep your eye on the prize, guys ! And don't waiver or get weak over a meaningless 3 hour game in a year like this.

Andrew Luck is a cross between John Elway and Peyton Manning. His attributes are a combination of both of those QB's. Luck is the real deal and will be a great QB in the NFL. He's going to tear it up and i hope it's in Aqua and Orange and I won't have to be envious of another team that gets him.

This is the biggest and most important season in modern Dolphins history. They must lose and lose and lose and not F__ck this up.

The new slogan should be, "Don't F_ck up with Luck"

If we don't get Luck all because we beat the Jets in one game, that will be all the more reason to hate them. Because in the end, the Jets would have won as they prevented us from getting Luck over the next 15 years.

Don't allow that to happen.

Because that would be a true nightmare scenario as you watch Luck's career over the next 15 years, and winning super bowls.

And you'll say to yourself, but man, only if we didn't beat those stinkin Jets a few years ago we'd have this amazing QB leading us to the promised land instead of still being mediocre and a sadsack team.

Yes, you'll really look stupid then as you'll seriously regret the win in a meaningless game that happened years ago while Luck is lifting Super Bowl trophies. It's only meaningful if we don;t get Luck because of that game. So the only course is to lose. And keep losing

You don't need 0-16, and probably not even 1-15 to get Andrew Luck. 2-14 got the #1 pick last season. I think there are enough shaky teams that will beat up on each other that 2-14 will do it again. So 1 win against the Jets is fine....just lose the rest after that.

I hope they beat the snot out of the Jets. Most over rated team in the NFL.

If the dolphins do beat the jets, I want it to be in the 2nd game against the Jets after we are just about assured we have the 1st overall pick in the bag with the worst record in the league.

I don't want the win in week 5 when things are still very murky and there will be some winless teams left... Keep in mind that miami must have the worst record outright, they can't tie with anybody as they will lose the tiebreakers because of SOS. That means Miami will be 2 games back with just one win this early in the season.

I don't want the dolphins to be behind that far, I want a lot of leeway and more confidence through the season as they keep losing, and looking worse and worse as the season goes along (when hopefully more injuries pile up on this team and our lack of depth gets exposed even more).

I want to see them at 0-10 over the first 10 games. And I want miami with a healthy 2 or 3 game lead on the other crappy teams for the #1 overall pick before the 2nd meeting with the Jets., THEN we can beat them if we want to. But not now at this early juncture.

Don't take any risks. Andrew Luck is far too important. FAR FAAAAAAAR too important.

Jet's aren't looking so good. A couple more losses and they will be in the suck for luck mix.

Well right now it's all Dolphins, Colts and Vikings for Luck Bowl 2012. Here's the thing with the Chiefs and Broncos-they each have 1 win, and still get to play each other twice. So if they split that's 2 wins each, and hopefully they pick up another along the way. I won't ever cheer against the Phins, but if both beat us that would help...(just remember this season is over in 3 months, it's all about the future now)

Really have to cheer for the Colts to beat the Chiefs on Sunday though.

As for Vikings...Adrian Peterson and a good defense should get them at least 4 wins. And Seahawks have a great home field advantage. They suck bad...but might sneak some against the shaky 49ers and Rams at home.

And really, there are some great prospects after Luck...so even the 2nd pick would be fine. Not as good, but still.

It would be nice to look back at this season fondly.
The year we were really bad but still managed to beat the hated Jets. On national TV no less.
And still managed to get our new coach and super star QB in next years draft.
A ****ty year turns into a very good one.
