Dolphins want to workout Brohm

Can't hurt to look at him. He will be at least as good as Ryan, and much cheaper. I wouldn't mind if we took him in the second round.

I think Brohm is a gamer big time i like what he does on the football field i think Ryan got alot of hype after that comeback over Va tech Brohm lost alot of talent last year and managed to put up HUGE numbers i think he has the pro game i think Ryan does too but Brohm has more IMO. If we trade someone and get a 3rd 2nd or another 1st i would love to pick him up if he falls to 32.

night of the bad speller!!

i think Ryan got alot of hype after that comeback over Va tech

DOLPHINATOR86: or maybe it was the 4,000+ yds and 31 td passes with
absolutely NO talent at wr and a mediocre run game and o-line.

could THAT be it?

I WILL BE THE FIRST to admit that ANY PLAYER thats drafted, in ANY year could be a bust! mcfadden, ryan, brohm, dorsey, the longs, etc.....

whatever they do in the nfl is just A GUESS!!! a lucky GUESS!! if ANYONE knew they
would be BILLIONAIRES!!!

DIDNT ANYONE LEARN A THING WITH DREW BREES? remember, the qb who MOST
said was a gueranteed, genuine nfl BUST!! the noodle arm qb who caused more
board fights than wanny and jay put together? the weakling who now is a pro bowl
regular?

it is just HILARIOUS to see so many be SO SURE that ryan is a bust and a waste when
he did more in college than breeze did! the ryan hatred is fast approaching the brees
hatred of a few years ago. and it's silly!!

dont some of you ryan bummers think that JUST MAYBE ryan might not be the awful
qb you think he is? 4,000 yds with 31 td's and 19 int's is pretty damned good!!

thats even a great NFL season!!

what if trent green would have thrown for over 4,000 yds, 31 td's and 19 pics?

or if beck would have done that?

would you be stoked to have one of them back or would you be so negative and
harp on the 19 pics and demand the finz find a qb?

just think back to drew brees and what it cost the finz to pass on him.

Good. If he and Ryan were available last yr, Brohm would have been drafted higher.
I just don't understand the hype surrounding Ryan. He's OK, but nothing special IMO.

Brohm > Ryan

19 picks is too many to consider this man with the #1 overall when our team has so many needs, in my opinion. Unless Parcells falls in love with Chris Long, I think we'll pick Ryan but trade him, then maybe move up in a later round and come home with Jake or Gholston or Ellis.

Nobody has seen John Beck play pro ball infront of a half decent pass protecting line, nor Josh McCown for that matter. I know this is becoming a cliche but there really is no point in taking a quarteback with #1 unless you spend two further top three picks on the o-line. Doing that would leave us with a very weak defensive backfield and a weak in the inside linebacking corps. Can't see Tuna going for that. He will make the trenches his first and second priority with a middle linebacker and a true corner his third and fourth.

System QB, without patrino's system he had a bad year. we don't run a spread so we don't need him.

I don't think anyone's saying Ryan's a bad QB or is gonna be a bust. He did throw for a lot of yards, but then again so did Beck at BYU, and which of his receivers moved on to the pros? Ryan had a lights-out first game against Wake Forest throwing 5TDS but the rest of his season, including his bowl game, he only threw 9 more TDs than intereceptions.. and he attempted an unusually large number of passes to reach that 4000 yard milestone with an unimpressive college completion percentage. So let's not annoint him the next can't-miss franchise QB either. He's a nice potential pro QB who deserves to be drafted somewhere in the first round.. just no where near the top 10.
