NE: 6-3
MIA: 4-5

New England's next two games, with my predictions:

NYJ @ NE (Nov. 22nd) - NE win
NE @ NO (Nov. 30th) - NE loss

Miami's next two games, with my predictions:

MIA @ CAR (Nov. 19th) - MIA win
MIA @ BUFF (Nov. 29th) - MIA win

Why we'll be playing for 1st:

If those predictions hold true then NE will be 7-4 and MIA will be 6-5 when we meet on Dec. 6th for Sunday Night Football.

If MIA wins that game, both teams are 7-5. Since overall record is the same, the tie breaker goes to head-to-head (which is a split), then better division record which would be MIA 5-1, NE 3-2.

Thus, we'd be in 1st and subsequently control our own destiny :1st:

Here's to hoping we can beat CAR and BUF potentially without Ronnie!

This would be great... but...

1. If New England plays against New Orleans the way they played last night, they probably win.
2. Even if they lose, I don't think they've ever lost 2 in a row with Belichick and Brady which means we would have a near impossible task on our hands.
3. We have a tough Carolina team to worry about. If we play the way we played against Tampa, we're in trouble.
4. I would not overlook Buffalo. The weather may play a factor in that game.

Let's hope for the best. Hopefully Henning doesn't go crazy with the stupid trick plays since Ronnie is unlikely to play. We shall see.

Please. This team is going down in flames this week and maybe against buffalo too if brown isn't back by then. And even if they were playing for first so what. New England Is going to drill them and everyone knows it. Just going to create more false hope. This is a 6 or 7 win team this year time 2 face reality folks.

Or....they could lose both these games, we win both, and we have a 1 game lead in the division after winning on Dec. 6th

indeed don't sleep on Carolina or Buffalo especially without Brown for at least 1 of the games

Really? I'd like to hear your prediction of how we will beat Carolina at their stadium.

Last week everyone was ready to chalk Tampa Bay up as a win... how did those same people feel when Henne threw that pick?

Fock NE and everything their sleezy, cheating, tainted franchise is all about -- including their flag football QB and weirdo perv HC.

I would love for this scenario to play out. But face it, we have a team that shoots itself in the foot more often than not. (I guess I am used to it by now) I don't think it's impossible for most of this scenario to play out. But seriously, if New England comes to Miami ready to play for 1st place, can you REALLY see us winning that game?

I am confident we can beat Carolina as long as Pasquiloni doesnt decide to sit back and give Delhomme all day to find a reciever like he does in the 2nd half of every game we've played this yr.

GTFO, i hope that was sarcastic maybe? never ever go to vegas, ull be hitchhiking ur way home. u think NE is going to loose not 2, not 3, but 4 straight games!!!?!? come on, Miami hasnt even lost 4 in a row this season but NE will? there is a very good chance they can loose against NYJ, NO, and Miami but all 3 right after a heatbreaker to INDY???:rolleyes:

yes we can win.we are a physical running team .we will play everybody close.the best and the worst.we are not explosive.we will grind everything out.we will need ronnie, even if its out of the i formation.a major problem is that we are the worst in the nfl in the 4th on defensive scoring.
