I'm sure a lot of you saw last week the report of him signing. While he's hardly an impact guy, just thought I'd pass along that it he has not signed with the Dolphins and has instead re-joined his CFL team. According to a local reporter up there I spoke with, this article from the Vancouver Sun about Mitchell ditching his agent and other questionable decisions cost him NFL tryouts, including one with the Texans. So looks like the guy basically screwed himself out of an NFL opportunity, however thin it might have been.

You mean he is not the next cameron wake lol, thx for the update

What?? How are we going to contend now????:sarcon:

Seriously though, that was an interesting article

The more I read about him, the more I realize the guy is a bit of a head case and doesn't like to work very hard either. Not a good combination. Stay in Canada Khalif, you underachiever. It's the only place you will ever amount to anything in football.

And he's got to be pretty stupid to ruin what could be his last chance at an NFL career.

What happened to his offensive lineman teammate who was supposed to have potential?

Yep. The guy doesn't get it and never will.

He's still available and has been working out for different NFL teams.

Jovan Olafioye. He's worked out for TONS of NFL teams--I saw him working out for a different team every day this week. He seems to be a hot commodity and I expect Miami to be in the mix for him.
