Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams said Sunday, Jan. 1, that he plans to spend at least a month in India doing advanced work on becoming a yoga instructor before returning to South Florida for the offseason program with the Dolphins in either March or April. He said he also plans to spend time in California during the next two or three months. "I just can't sit around and do nothing," Williams said. "I'm always looking for some type of stimulation. In the old days, it would be about going out and looking for something, but I've really turned my thoughts and focus inward toward improving myself as much as possible."
 
Well, at least we know he's coming back this time.
 
Good for him. I hope he has some fun and doesn't lose too much muscle on all that damn curry!
 
i wonder if the NFL will fly someone to India twice a week to drug test Ricky!

for real, he has till March? He can definatly toke and have it out of his system by then.

He better return. Yoga can actually help his game a bit if he decides to return and commit long-term. Better than drugs of course.

I'm thrilled about getting Ricky back. In 2006, the drama will be behind Miami. Ricky will get to come in and be invloved with the whole offseason program. Ronnie & Ricky will get to be in the program together. I'm getting ready for HUGE things from them in 2006. :D
