With Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, what about the Fins are you thankful for? For me it is as follows:

Gase keeping this team focused
Ryan learning to be a clutch qb and embracing it
The D line staying healthy
J-Train's commitment
Landry's tenacity

I am very thankful that we got Gase as HC. It looked bleak in the first part of the year. Hell, it looked bleak when three of our top OL went down. But he kept the team focused and we won - again.

Those are all nice things that you brought up, but this is what I'm really most thankful for:

It is late November and this team is in the playoff conversation. And not in the "Also in contention" part of the picture all the way on the right side of the screen, but in the "nipping at the heels of the faltering Kansas City Chiefs" part of the screen.

Improvement. We won 6 games last season. We've already won 6 games this season. And without exactly a much better roster.

Coaching matters.

I'm thankful we have a roster full of team players that are easy to root for. 3 years ago I'd have a laundry list of players that I absolutely couldn't stand for one reason or another.

That's a great point. December will mean something this year. I saw one article putting us "In the thick of playoff contention" Great feeling.

I'm thankful that we have head coach Adam Gase. He appears to have surrounded himself with coaches who do the things he's not good at, which is smart.

I'm thankful that Jay Ajayi has become our BEAST MODE. The guy is loads of fun to watch.

I'm thankful that the team is going in the right direction.

Steven Ross. Yes he's made mistakes. But he tries to get the best for this team, whether it was letting Parcells do his thing, pursuit of Harbaugh (in a stumbling manner), trying to give Joe a chance to figure it out, or pursuing Gase like he did Harbaugh, not to mention never hesitating to open his checkbook for free agents or the stadium upgrades, he's like the clueless uncle whose intentions are always good hearted, and he seem to have finally hit the jackpot with Gase.

Landry's giant brass balls, Ajayi's punishing throwback style, and 91 beating a right tackle around the edge zeroing in for the kill

They are sucking at fewer things.

Mostly I'm thankful for Ryan Tannehill and Adam Gase. Give them time to develop like other great QB/HC combinations.

I'm thankful we finally have a coach that knows what he is doing

I am thankful for the "want to" our coaches and players seem to have. In the recent past, at least to me, it seemed some of guys were just here to collect a check. Now they ALL want to win and as the game proved yesterday claw and scratch until the very end.
