Dolphins work out RB LaMichael James

if they asked him to take any pass pro reps i bet they walked out of that work out without saying good bye
 
I'd take James over Thomas anyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Thomas has had 1, that is 1 fricken decent game in 3 full seasons. The guy is as soft as cotton as a 235 pound running back. He is slow, plays soft and can't break tackles. I have never seen a guy his size who plays with all finesse. He can't deliver a blow to any defender.

Former Oregon star LaMichael James' workout with Miami didn't result in him signing but it's a possibility.Sides have had discussions.
 
Holy fried Christmas on a stick! If ever there was an RB for the system Lazor is trying to implement then its LaMichael James.

You almost also described J Martin as well.
 
Last season he ran back punts and kicks. I assume that's partially the reason we're looking at him.
 
Nothing better than Danielle Thomas running behind a Jonathan Martin block....
I would like to see Hickey get Mike James from Tampa bay. I think he is better than Thomas.
A big back that runs with power.
 
They need to sign this guy, he's run in this type of offense before. Plus he's prob a helluvalot better than Miller. This is one guy they need to sign ASAP.
 
I am still willing to give DT one more shot. I liked him in the draft, but obviously he busted for the most part. I just wonder if he can help as a receiver and he HAS to be hungry.

With that said, I am very interested in Damien Williams getting more touches.
 
Lemichael in the NFL hasn't worked out at all, he looks slow, is incredibly weak, and just doesn't seem to be able to do anything in this league.

I don't know why we didn't go after a real running back in free agency or the draft, besides knowshon. But it's time to let Damien Williams get a shot at being the man, Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas aren't the answer.
 
Would be an upgrade as a return man & I think would be a good fit in scheme. I was rooting for Miller but not sold on him anymore he struggles to catch the ball.
 
I posted this another thread but will add it to this one too. We also worked out undrafted Missouri TE Eric Waters.
