DAVIE–Hard Rock Stadium has felt a little different to
Dolphins players this season, and the increased volume has been a nice asset.
Wide receiver Jarvis Landry said he’s noticed a change this year and it’s a big reason the team is 6-1 at home.
“We definitely feel like we’ve got home-field advantage,” he said after practice today. “When teams come in here, they’ve always been expecting to communicate, but when we have the support from the fans and it being as loud as it has been, it makes it hard for opponents to communicate.”
There was one other interesting note from Landry. He was asked why the trio of him, Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker seem to fit so well together and said, “We all pose a different threat: Kenny’s speed, DeVante’s size and myself just being able to get the ball in my hands and try to make something out of nothing. It allows us to throw screens, throw a drag to DeVante and have him break a tackle and go 60, or get a zero where Kenny runs past somebody. We all pose three different threats.”
