Mike Shula is in fine shape. He has to be paid the final three years of his extention. That's big money. The Don ripped Nick because Nick deserved ripping. His word means nothing.

He has legitimate reason to be angry with Saban. But, he spoke the absolute truth didn't he? Where was he wrong? He put Saban's accomplishments (or lack of) in the proper perspective.
Truth is, Mike Shula recruited the players Saban will be coaching and Shula took over the team coming off NCAA sanctions.
Shula was a scapegoat for all the wrongs committed in that hayseed town known as Tuscaloosa.
 
Both as a person and a coach. I think I'll go to his steakhouse sometime this month.

shula is bitter about the way they treated mike BUT he has and ALWAYS will go to bat for the fins. dont blame his comments on his sons's firing!
