Do you guys think Donnie can make it to Hawaii this year? He is performing at that level even though he doesn't have the name. I just voted for him on nfl.com

If they go by stats, he's there for certain. Unfortunately, much of Pro Bowl voting is based on popularity. :(

hahahaahhaha....popular...punters....:rofl3:

he should go to the probowl just for the hit he laid on parrish

any one have an idea if they have results of voting, like it sayszach has a certain amount ofvotes on the front page...i wonder if theres anywhere we could see the voting results thus far...probably not though, probably just inside information

He will go. you can bet on it. The average fan who votes for a punter either votes for thier teams punter or some other guy who sounds alright or who has had pro bowl seasons in the past.. The other votes by the players and coaches will probably go to Donnie. Donnie easily makes it to the Pro Bowl.

How many punters are chosen to go?

Is it just one per conference, or is there a back up?

Would they split time on the punts like the other players always subbing in and out?

Punter 1: "You can punt on the first drive"

Punter 2: "No way... Peyton is at QB, I won't get a chance!"
Punter 1: "Dammnit boy... I'm pro bowl punter one for a reason... Respect my game! I'm so good I didn't even do training camp!"

ANYWAY...

I think he probably does deserve to go, although remember punting stats are better when your special teams coverage is stopping the big returns. This year our special teams coverage has been pretty pretty pretty pretty good (Larry David RULES!!!)

for fans lechler has the lead. But coaches and players still have to vote.
