Dont'a Hightower linked to Dolphins!

The Miami Herald reports free agent ILB Dont'a Hightower could be too expensive for the Dolphins.

Hightower has been vaguely connected to the Dolphins. Ace reporter Barry Jackson cites only "reports" with regards to the Dolphins' apparent interest. The Dolphins fielded a truly woeful linebacker corps in 2016, but might avoid the kind of big-spending splash that's been their signature in free agencies past.

Can Hightower cover? I remember Marcus Thigpen easily beating him for a game winning TD a few years back. It seemed like something we purposely setup to take advantage of and it's like the only play I remember Thigpen making as a pass catcher.
