With all signs pointing to the gradual (if not faster) disappearance of receiver Ted Ginn from relevance, one of his former Ohio State teammates is more than willing to give him a new home.
Bills safety Donte Whitner, "retweeting" the headline to our story indicating that Ginn has been marginalized at practice, offers encouragement for Ginn.
"[Push] through this bro!" Whitner says in his message. "We'll take u!"
In hindsight, the Dolphins apparently are wishing they never had. Ginn's name was called at a time when everyone expected the Dolphins to take quarterback Brady Quinn with the ninth overall pick in the 2007 draft. Lost in the aftermath of that Cam Cameron curveball is the fact that the Dolphins could have had linebacker Patrick Willis or cornerback Darrelle Revis instead of Ginn.
By all appearances, the Dolpins are in the process of removing him from their future plans. And, at this point, he'll save his position there only by making the most of his quickly fading opportunities.
