Face it.....we NEED a safety.

Renaldo Hill, Yeremiah Bell, not sure about Lance Schulters...


Lawson would be good, so would Greenway or Bunkley....but lets face it, SAFETY is a big concern right now. im sure Witner will be available at 16, even if we trade and get to pick at #27....im sure he will still be there.

It is a need area, but taking a Safety in the 1st round is not usually good value. There are exceptions though.

Jason Allen is considered a CB, right? cuz some mock boards have him as a Safety. then there's KO Simpson, i think thats his name...whos another safety. but Donte Whitner is probably the best choice...altho some mock boards say he could go in the 2ND ROUND. so if we do trade up with the Jets, Steelers, Panthers or whoever....its possible that we can get Whitner in the 2nd round, and hopefully try to find someone like Nick Mangold in the 1st.
