Doug Marrone for HC

I honestly don't know much about the guy. So I don't really have an opinion on him.
 
If we are going to get a guy who has only one or two seasons of head coaching experience and a losing record, sign me up for the Rob Chudzinski interview train. Guy deserves a second look, IMO.

Marrone's exit from Buffalo was Petrinoesque.

Go check out the Bills boards and do a search....most fans dont like him and its NOT because he bailed...serious concerns about him as a coach. Schwartz was overall liked in a big way...not so much the HC.
 
He's not a flashy name. He is an old school guy who likes to be physical up front, run the ball up the middle, and manage the clock. He's a better Sparano basically with not as much energy. He will have the team tough and disciplined, but the quitting part is a question. Plus he has a calm demeanor and uses coach talk in his press conferences like Sparano did that I can see people here destroying him for if the team is losing.
 
if we hire marrone i'm gonna go ahead and stick my head under my pillow for a few years
 
He is god awful. Be prepared to watch him punt on 4th and inches on the opponent's side of the field (even in obvious go for it situations). He has an abrasive personality and comes off like he is the smartest guy in the room even when it is obvious he is not. He would be the worst choice of all the candidates out there as far as I am concerned.
 
Hahahah he got pretty good results in Buffalo though. He cannot be worse than Philbin which was a pretty good public speaker.
