Should have ran on 3 and 1. Basically 2 plays to get 1 yard. instead a sack and its 4th and 4. Great punt coverage. Ball was caught at 4 yard line, no way should the return go past the 10-15 yard line. Miami had the momentum. RUN THE BALL. Keep drive going. Play calling on 3 and short seems to kill us every year. A lot of mistakes up until that point, and we still had a chance. We are no where as bad as Tampa or jacksonville. Dumb play calling, dropped passes, special teams and a few poor thrown balls have killed us. Our running backs ran the ball 17 times combined for 7.3 avg. Lynch for Seattle ran 26 times for 3.4 avg and won. San Diego ran 34 times for 2.8 avg and won. San Fran did nor run much at all and lost.

That was the game. You get that first down and we are in business. Horrible play call.

Marino would have said f*** that, and changed the play.

Miller could have had 200 today and a game ball.

Lamar Miller's underuse today was beyond laughable, its that moment when you see something so bad its unfathomable that the coaches responsible will keep their jobs, yet you know that its not going to change anytime soon and its depressing yet sadly hilarious at the same time. I was there with Sparano and Henne after the Cleveland and Detroit games in 2010.

Shoulda coulda woulda. you can play that game till your blue in the face and speculate the "right" coaching decisions all you want. Dolphins would find a way to lose regardless.

If we get the 1st down we wouldnt have been in business. Ryan Tannehill was still taking snaps at QB. You think he was going to march us down for a score if we get a 1st down there? Based on what?

Tannehill sucks.

Our best bet wouldve been to just handoff every play and see if we could score.

Yes, that would have been the plan...just hand off to Miller.

Either Tanny is dumb or soft, I just can't pin point which one it is yet....but I'm leaning toward lacking smarts....just a dumb country, jock from Texas.

You really need to expand your views here.... Dolphins suck.

Actually the play called on 3-1 worked, there were two guys in the left flat covered by one defender and RT never looked their way and took the sack.....if he feels the pressure looks for the easy completion they get the first down.....I don't fault the play calling one bit on that series

The second and one killed me. He rolled out and it was wide open to run for the first, but he throws incomplete down the sideline.

I too question the play call and RT's decision making. All he needed was ONE yd. It appeared KC was stunting or blitzing. Either way the QB has to get rid of the ball quickly. He simply doesn't play with any sense of urgency. There is no there there.
He has lost me as a supporter.
Im not going to pile on. Im just getting apathetic. I was in wait and see mode before deciding to spend money on any games. I live in Orlando and usually drive down for 3-4 games each season. Havent done so this season and probably won't.

That was the game. Kind of like the third quarter against the Bills. The Dolphins dominated the play, had all the momentum, but couldn't get enough out of it. Of course, there's something to be said for digging another first half hole, too ... don't come out playing so poorly and you don't have to maximize every second half possession to get back into the game.

The Lions (2-1) came into the game with a secondary decimated by injuries, but that didn't much matter with Rodgers under constant pressure. He was sacked twice and threw for only 162 yards, and Green Bay (1-2) wasn't any better running the ball. The Packers managed only 223 yards of offense and lost despite forcing three turnovers.

Rodgers was 16-27 162 1 TD. He missed Jordy Nelson in end zone. Made several bad throws. The only ran ball 19 times fr a 4.1 avg. Packers are 1-2, i doubt many are calling for players or coaches head nor cancelling sunday ticket. Yes it is a "passing league now" , you still have to run the football at least 20-25 times a game. We had Marino all of those years and never had a running game thus no Championships

How about Tanny chucking the ball 8 yards out of bounds on this play? Awful

In what universe is comparing Rodgers and tannehill even remotely logical?

You should've stopped at down 21-15, once again trying to play catchup after an abysmal start, yet again, and only down one score because of a rare safety. We have been blown out two weeks in a row, so yes, stop fooling yourself, we are that bad.
