I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet, but I searched back to it's time of posting on the Web and couldn't find a thread, so here goes.

Dr. Z. admits his mistake

A refresher: SI's Paul Zimmerman said March there was NO WAY Ricky Williams would show at training camp. Now, he's stung by the fact he was wrong. He checks out Ricky's "mea culpa" and doesn't believe a word of it and thinks his teammates are just SAYING they accept his apology.

Then he talks to them. privately. And is proven wrong.

In conclusion, Dr. Z is man enough to admit he doesn't run the Dolphins. Almost makes me want to change my screen name. :shakeno:

At least he admitted his error. Some of the reporters are sticking by their views through thick and thin. We will prove them wrong by the end of this season.

I've always liked Dr.Z, I don't always agree with his views, but I like his writing style and I enjoy reading his Power Rankings during the season.

Well, we all knew Dr. Z was an idiot, now, perhaps a slightly more humble idiot. I remember way back when I was like 10 years old and super excited every year to get the SI NFL preview (i think featuring the writing of a younger Dr. Z) and the new Street & Smith's each year. Thank god there are resources like Finheaven and we don't all have to read that garbage now.

i agree with you, kenny. i think he's one of the better columnists out there, regardless of what i feel about his opinions.

Zimmerman is a dipstick. The guy is as pompous as any football writer out there and writes a good column about once a month.
