In this order, either Calvin Johnson, Dwyane Jarrett, or Ted Ginn Jr.
I don't expect Calvin to be there at 9 but I really hope we can take either Jarrett or Ted Ginn because we are in dire need of a Playmaking WR.

I like bpa, whoever that may be. Id be fine with that Jarret pick, that man has some serious size.

you really cant go wrong with any of the big 3 receivers

Randy Moss

I do not think we need to draft a receiver. I think its a wasted pick. We have the receivers. We had 4 guys w/ over 50 receptions. I do not think there is any other team out there that can say that.

I personally think we should get Randy Moss somehow. He is unhappy in Oakland (who isnt) and he loves Miami (he is down here often in the offseason). Culpepper and Moss's best years were when they were together and i think they need to be reunited. We need a WR that is a deep threat and we dont have that. Chambers is inconsistent and will be making over 5 million next year. Booker is much more consistent and is a better bargain and is the same type of WR.

So lose Chambers, add Randy Moss, and draft a receiver in the later rouds because we have one of the top 3rd receivers in all the NFL in Welker and Hagan looks like he may be a good WR in the league.

I'd take Dwayne Jarrett or Ted Ginn over any prospect projected to be at #9.

please no dwayne jarrett.... if its one thing i hate its ****y arrogant recievers.... and i can see that in him as well considering the taunting he was doing yesterday against michigan... i dont want a T.O. or anyone who is anything like him... calvin johnson is a humble monster .. and i think we should trade up to get him because hes like a ladanian tomlinson... and they dont come around too often.....( i know hes not anywhere tomlinson's level yet but he has the same humbleness and athleticism that makes players respected and great)

You defend our WR's but then u say we need a deep threat ? ? ? ? ?
I would take Moss over Chambers also but Booker is not going to come back and Hagan is inconsistent. How can you pass on Dwyane Jarrett ???? He is 6'4" and runs a 4.4 and makes HUGE plays. The Dolphins need that !!!

Humbleness doesn't win Super Bowls

Drafting a WR early is a mistake in my opinion. Look at the last couple of guys to go early, they haven't done jack. Look at Colston, the guy was almost the last dude picked and he is one of the best rookie WR's in NFL history. You can find a good rook WR without blowing a top ten pick. That being said, I'd like Johnson if we did go WR.

Personally, I'd go with the best pass rusher available, be it at LB or DL.

I was at that game. The guy is a freak. Every single receiver in the pros and college has a side to him that tells him he is the best there is. Same with corners. Some douchebags just choose to be *******s about it. It is a very one on on game when it comes to playing receiver - in terms of getting open and such. If you were a receiver and didn't have that fire you'd be worthless - ask Chris Chambers. I've defended that guy since we drafted him, but other people were right. Hes all potential and no production. he's a waste on our team.

Anyway, watching Jarrett eat up Michigan yesterday was good for two reasons - he's just an incredible physical specimen. He can run, catch, jump and do everything needed for a receiver. The other reason is because all those ABC/ESPN dickriders can now shut the **** up about the wack *** Big 10 now that they're little media darlings got ran over by a team running a sophisticated offense and defense - they aren't used to not playing the 3 yards and a cloud of dust bull**** they play over in the Big10/12/etc.

Ok, sorry about the rant, I just hate the bias when it comes to the Pac10 like those guys don't know how to play ball or something.

All that being said, we should look for o-line help more than another receiver, we had a bunch of productive ones with 3 subpar QBs this year. I don't think it's a need as much as you think.
