Hey everyone I feel like we are on the eve of Christmas now and I feel like a little kid. I am wondering what everyone plans on doing for the draft as it has become a weekend long process. I have an intramural bocce ball game on Thursday night which may last until the first rounds but I plan on hitting the bar afterwards.

Friday I am going to sit in front of the tv and sewer some beers and Saturday I'm going to sit outside and listen to the final picks on my phone.

What do all my fellow fins fans have planned?

I'm off Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday . . . been like that for the last few years since the draft moved to Thursday night.

Thursday/Friday night I'll be lounging around the house, in Finheaven chat, maybe throw something on the grill real quick and have a few ice cold beers. Nothing too major. Not really into inviting folks over on these 2 days . . . I don't want somebody telling me to "turn on the game". **** basketball.

Saturday is the day for me (I still wish the NFL started the draft on Saturday). Will have an all day cookout/pre Cinco de Mayo party with draft coverage/NBA playoffs/Kentucky Derby/Floyd&Pacquiao fight . . . . . should be a great time.

I'll be at Kennedy Space center with my son on his field trip....so I'll be following round one on my phone...

I have men's league softball playoffs and I am really having a hard time deciding to just watch the draft on DVR or miss my games. It really is a good event to watch on DVR, but it is one of my favorite events of the year and I love watching it live.

Still haven't decided what to do.

you gotta watch it with us man !

same thing every year...take thursday and friday off barricade myself on the 3rd floor in the man cave...tell my wife and kids i will see you on sunday (they usually will go to the river house anyways this draft weekend) and spend the next 72 hours in mostly isolation...perfect

i will play bball saturday morning and i may hit the gym for a quick easy workout one of those days and other than that i will watch the manny mayweather fight saturday night as i'm a big boxing fan

plenty of ice cold bud light beer spend some time around here each day a little bit talking targets etc but nothing while the draft is actually going on...and hope like heck i have a huge smile on my face come the end of day 2...wife usually makes me a big spread and i order some stuff also but it's mostly all isolation and it's just the way i like it

turn my phone off tell my wife to face time me on the ipad if she needs anything but it better be serious...perfect weekend

thursday night the regular group of guys that watch fins games at my house will be over for round 1. my son is on break from college so he will be back down here too. order up a bunch of pizzas.

friday night and saturday all the same folks are invited, but probably won't have the same turn out as Friday night.

either way i will be home watching all three days.

Will turn on the draft, probably multitask and hover around the TV for fins picks when they come up. I always look forward to the draft big time, but once it's on it's hard for me to just sit there and watch it - but it's been better now that it starts in prime time.

Me and my friend with some beers , some Anthony's coal fired pizza and my tv .

I hate watching it with a bunch of people who know nothing and want us to get " Winston or Mariota "

Makes me want to blow my brains out lol . So now I just watch it with my boy and in peace .

I just had my 2nd daughter Saturday so much like I did with my first, we'll be in my chair watching together

Barbecues, Mayweather-Pacman fight, beers, wives going out of town, etc. Anyone want to send me a ticket and an invite, Id certainly give you guys a Thumbs Up lol.

Round 1 starts Thursday at 8pm? So that means Ill be up at 3am here in Greece, with some chips, to see what our boys do. There is my draft day plan.

I'm working/teaching Thursday night (scheduled until 9:30pm). But, it is the last day of class and my students are on point so we should be done by 7:30-8pm hopefully. Will list to the 1st part of the draft on the radio driving home and probably grab a pizza or some takeout Chinese for myself and my pregnant wife. Hope to get home before the phins pick to watch it on TV.

Friday and the beginning of Saturday are my favorite parts of the draft (my favorite rounds are 2-5). I love the potential and value there. I will probably be playing video games on the PC and watching the draft on TV. No big plans, as I'm not really a fan of watching the draft with people as I like to multitask and/or switch to bball playoffs. Will probably go to a bar with some buds to watch the May-Pac fight on Sat night.

My daughter has a concert at 6:30pm Thurs, so as soon as that is over bolt home and set up in the basement with the Draft already programmed to DVR. Kids will go to bed and i'll stay up late.
Vacation day on Friday so I'll do the yard work outside all day until dinner, cook for the kids then back to the basement. All my chores will be done on Saturday, so after my son's flag football double header (Who in the #*(#)$)#$ schedules concerts and double headers on draft weekend? Crackheads?) back to the basement. I can't wait. I watched SOOOO Much college football this year, this is the best i've known the players in a decade, I think. Really looking forward, but waiting for the unexpected monkey wrench that ruins my plans. If you have kids and a wife,, you know EXACTLY what I mean.
