Epic, as in an Aaron Rodgers/Brady Quinn-like freefall. While many have Ryan pegged going to Baltimore at 7, I believe Johnny Harbaugh will screw Baltimore and gaffe on his first ever draft pick (he has Cam Cameron on the staff, after all :D)

Anyways, let's say he goes past Baltimore and keeps falling, like to the low 20s. You think Parcells & Co. would try to trade up for him?

For the record, I am a Beck supporter. I want Beck to be our guy. But with all these rumors (smokescreens) about Henne or Flacco in the 2nd, and if the best quarterback prospect in the draft was available, would you jump on him?

Saturday's going to be a fun day. :)

that would a great reach

I hope he does fall because Mel Kiper said he would quit forever if Ryan fell past Baltimore at #8. (and take his hair gel with him)

I like Mel Kiper, but it would be funny either watching him leave or try to doubletalk his way back from that one during the 9th pick.

Even if Baltimore somehow passes on him, I don't see how he makes it past Carolina, Chicago, and Detroit. One of those teams would grab him just for the value.

If that were to happen, I think another team would be willing to pay more than Parcells to move up and grab Ryan.

We should get Ryan a medic alert bracelet just in case that reads, "I have Epic-lepsy, and may be prone to Epic-leptic falls."

If we had the 28th pick and Ryan fell to us......MAYBE.....I can't see him slipping past the Chicago Bears, who I think pick 14th??...you can only take so much Rex Grossman.

Chicago will move up for him before that happens, I think, on the chance that Carolina likes him as insurance for Delhomme.

Chris Long has the epuic fall. If the Patriots dont draft him he falls out of the top ten. Matt Ryan is guaranteed to be drafted top seven. No way he gets past the Jets anymore

Ryan certainly won't get past the Ravens at 8, but if Dorsey goes to St. Louis, Ryan could go at 3 to Atlanta.

If you're right, all bets are off. If Parcells and Ireland thought there was any way in heck they could get the top two guys on their board they would do it.

I'm not sure I'm buying the Jets/McFadden lovefest, either. We'll see.

If Ryan does slip past Baltimore we will definately be players in that mix. Once we get a pick or picks for JT the targets with our next two picks will be a QB and a JT replacement in no specific order. If Ryan becomes available in the middle of round one then we will definately consider moving ahead of Carolina to get him since we are considering getting that far for Harvey. Then we can still get Groves at 32. Or we could get Harvey and Henne at 32 or vice versa. Lots of ways it could still happen but QB and DE/OLB will be the next two picks with Henne, Groves, Harvey, and Ryan should he fall far enough being in the mix.

seeing as the lions are thinking about moving UP to get him - his "epic fall" wont last very long....
