Do you think we will trade for another second or third???? It would be great to pick up another second

We have nothing of value. If anything i would trade to get some picks next year. thats where the talent is. If Dez and McClain are gone i would love to get a frist next year and another 2 this year or something.

i think we could trade Ginn, 3rd, and 5th and some backup OL for a mid-late 2nd

We don't have a 5th this year.

But it would work valuewise, however I would not do it. It's too much to give up: Ginn, OL rotation player, 3rd and 6th in a deep draft.

i think the most we could get for ginn would be a 5th and i can only see like 2 teams doing that... browns and lions MAYBE RAVENS

I see this draft as very deep through the first 3 rounds, but QUICKLY tapering off after that, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Extra picks never hurt, but i'd rather try to stockpile mid round picks in a draft deep all the way through than have to take risks giving up talent to get extra picks in a top heavy draft.

I'm excited about the prospect of drafting in the number 12 position. We definitely will get a player that contributes immediately.

As for Ginn..we will be lucky if we could get ANY trade. I don't think there's much value there. Of course being the eternal optimist when it comes to the Fins, if Ginn stays, I hope that something clicks for him next year and he becomes a legitimate threat! We can only hope...

To gain another 2nd rounder, what the Fins could do is switch 1st rounders with the team lying at 22 (currently Baltimore Ravens) and pick up their 2nd rounder in the process.

Going by ESPN's draft pick value chart, Miami's pick is valued at 1200. The Ravens 1st at 22 is worth 780 and their 2nd rounder is worth 360 (Miami could actually still get another 5th or 6th rounder out of that type of trade).

It then all depends on a couple of things though. The Ravens need a WR and the only wideout worth trading to 12 for would be Dez Bryant. For that to happen Bryant would have to be the number 1 guy on their board and that they feel he is worth trading up for.

If Miami have someone like Dan Williams as the highest guy on their board who is available and they feel they could still get him later, then the trade has potential to happen.

That type of trade is certainly possible, but needs alot to happen also. There is actually alot of things Miami could do if they are willing to trade down. I just used the Ravens at 22 as an example.

Although I think Ginn will be on the team next year, I can see the trifecta using him to make a deal if needed. We really do not have anyone else of any value.

i really don't think ginn is gone. I wouldn't be heartbroken if he was but I just am not seeing it at this point. I'm not sure the FO will be in love with mcclain. I'd take him, but I would like dez bryant first. than I may even want a dan williams or terrance cody b4 mcclain.

of course this is all a moot point considering we have a combine and a FA period to go through first.

i could definently see us doing that if McClain is not available, and picking up either Dan Williams or Brandon Spikes in the first.

Would love to slide back about 7-8 picks and pick up another 2nd. Hardly ever happens though. I just don't want pick #22. That spot is cursed.

You never know who becomes the hot player for some team and is willing to move up for them i.e. A QB falls, Spiller, Bryant or an OL that falls.

I think we could drop 5/6 spots and get a 2nd and 5th and still get our man. We have such a wide variety of positions we need to fill now and in the future.

Players with any value would be R.Brown and maybe P.Merling. Bell/Wilson have too large of contracts, Ginn/Cam would hold low value but could be throw ins.

I'd like to try a 3rd, 6th and G.Cam for A.Boldin! His value has too have dropped and this is closer to B.Edwards deal.

On draft day I'd love to trade back in the 1st and grab an extra 2nd, then grab D.Williams NT and hope Spikes falls to our 2nd round pick.

It's been two drafts with BP and no significant trades so I think it's over due!!!

Depending on who's on the board I wouldn't be upset if we moved back to 14/15/16th pick and got an extra 3rd. Just all depends on who's available. I'm hoping for the early part of the draft for there to be a run on Tackles and QBs considering we are pretty well off in both places and this could force some team to panic and trade up or we could stay put and have our choice between plenty of good defensive players or Bryant/Spiller.
