Draft may be next big move for Dolphins

Thats pretty sad right there.
 
Other than a few players left (maybe Gandy-LT, Barber-LB, Emmons-LB, Hartwell-LB, Hamlin-S, Shaun Williams-S, Stokley-WR, Moulds-WR), most free agents left are average at best and would only serve as depth players. For that reason, i'd wait until the draft and then wait to see who may be cut from other teams, especially on June 1st.

Stokley, if healthy, would be a nice pickup to take Welker's role.

Gandy might be a huge need if we don't get a LT in the draft.

Hamlin/Williams would add depth and competition to the safety position.
 
It's easy to see that our plunge into mediocrity has coincided with a lack of draft picks. Only a maniac would suggest we give up more picks to move up in the draft or give up picks for another veteran.

Depends on who you move up to get. If Cam and Mueller think that Quinn can develop into an elite QB, then it is worth moving up.
Each situation has to be analyzed independently. There is n wrong or right way. The article is a generalization.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up why Miami has gone 19-39 over the last three seasons.
