Reported back in Nov. Dolphins like Memphis QB Paxton Lynch. Didn't seem then they'd lose enough to get him. They're losing enough now.

Don't see spending a high 1st on QB after just making Tannenhill Rich

Drafting a QB here would just add to the list of terrible recent selections. This team needs impact players at CB, LB, and O-line. Let's please draft there before addressing the QB position.

Paxton Lynch or someone else, I stand by a statement I made in another thread that we need to draft a QB to provide competition for Ryan, or outright take the starting QB job.

Line still sucks.
Look what happened to that great Green Bay QB when his line sucks.
Until the line play impoves the QB play will suffer.

Agreed. Even if Lynch outplays Tanne, the team is going nowhere without the OLine and Defense getting better. Tanne had a bad year, but played serviceable in a fair amount of games, and even still it hasn't equated to wins. The problems run deep, no time to throw, no run blocking, no defense to stop the bleeding. Games will continue to get out of hand quickly.

2 QB's getting killed and a horrible defense. sounds like a great plan to me :bobdole:

I hope we draft him, that'll solve everything. If we alternate between lynch and tannehill maybe one of them will still be walking by season end after taking a beating behind our offensive revolving err um i mean line.

If there's a qb that you truly believe can be a GREAT qb in the NFl and you don't have a GREAT qb then you take him if he's there. No question. If he beats out tannehill then great! If he doesn't we can still trade him later and say he didn't fit the system or teams may just think we ****ed up with his development, which very well could happen anyways. The only issue I have with it is there is sound reasoning in trading that pick to a qb needy team and getting a **** load of picks to really fill out our line and secondary, and linebackers.

Come on now. We have perennial Pro Bowlers like Dallas Thomas and Jason Fox on the o-line. All is fine.
