Draft Pryor to be our Brad Smith

If we don't draft him, then Belichek will and he will either a) become a huge star for the Pats or b) get picked by the Pats and get traded for a number one draft pick and star for another team! With our luck that's how it goes..........

I think Miami atleast has to throw a 6th round pick out there . . . don't they? Just to have that kind of talent on the team. Dude has a chip on his shoulder.

Very well stated. It's interesting that many analysts have deemed this year a "lost season" for this years rookie class, due to the lack of OTAs, mini camps, etc. Imagine how difficult it will be for Pryor to make any kind of contribution whatsoever for a team this season.
Actually, I think it would be the opposite. The kid gets a play book and gets to hang out at the facilities and attend meetings ( just can't train with team ) for five weeks. That is more prep-time than any of the other rookies had. A motivated guy could use that time to hit week six like a rock star.

However, I don't want that kid on the Dolphins.

It would be irresponsible not to draft this guy as a developmental project. The worst that can happen is he switches positions to TE or WR.

That's the problem the kid has shown no maturity to ever think he would be willing to make a switch like that. Interview after interview he thinks he is the next Steve Young and Dan Marino rolled into one with a little Elway on top. Brad Smith was just happy to make an NFL team, live his dream and contribute, much like Hines Ward, no way I can see this kid doing that. Listen, I am no fan of Tebow but I'd take him 10 times before I would take this kid. I think both lack the same skill set to be NFL QB's, Tebow maybe even more so, however in the end I think Tebow is willing to do what is best for the team after he gets a shot, I don't see that in Pryor's makeup.

we drafted white to be out wildcat qb ala brad smith and look how that worked..no thanks and please no more threads about pryor...he was a 1st class overrated bum

Yep your right. Oakland drafted a QB first and look how that turned out. They should never do that again.

Do you know how stupid you sound, different players does not mean the same outcome will happen. I agree that we should not use him at QB but we could use his size and speed somewhere.

John Clayton is reporting the Steelers will spend a 6th rd pick for Pryor but what have they ever done right huh? It's not like they know more about talent acquisition than finheaven posters.

What is it about the Breaking News Banner on Sportscenter that Dolphins Fans love so much?

HE IS A TERRIBLE QUARTERBACK, albeit under center, in shotgun, in wildcat, in practice... you name it... he sucks at it.

Bad Player.
Bad Attitude.
Undraftable.
should be Untouchable.

So you think 5 weeks of attending meetings and studying the playbook is all it takes for a (motivated) rookie to be ready to hit the field at the NFL level??? It wouldn't be enough for the long snapper on the punt team, let alone for a QB, or a WR/TE as some have suggested.

No, we can't take him. Because like 90% of the people on FH say about any player we could/ should get (said in a whiny, nasally voice) "He's too much of a risk. He'll be a locker room cancer". **FACEPALM**

We finally bring it someone who could be a QB and people want us to use him as a TE or WR.....? **FACEPALM**
