Simple thread, I'm going to ask questions about the 14th pick, you guys provide answers and why.

1.Who is your personal favorite to be picked at 14?

1.Who is your personal favorite to be picked at 14?

Todd Gurley - I typically don't put much stock in round 1 RB's, but he is a rare player. Every year we have elite players, but rarely do we have guys who are so good they would be the best at the position in recent memory. A player like Gurley could help out the offense immensely by providing a player teams would fear and forcing some to play more in the box.

2.What pick would piss you off the most?

Obviously any player picked at a position we are currently deep at or any "tweeners".

3.Who is the one player that you would be willing to trade up for?

None...

4.If Miami were to trade down, who would you target?

If they trade back I would look for interior help....DT, OG, maybe MLB.

5.If Miami somehow obtained a 2nd pick in round 1 who would you want?

Eric Kendricks, MLB is such a need and his is the best in this draft class...though I don't think he is close to as good as Mosley was last year (why I wouldn't target him at 14), but in the late 20's would be a good spot)

6.What one player are you willing to reach on at 14?

DGB - I don't know if it is a reach based on talent, but as far as taking a chance...he would be my guy.

This will obviously change as fhe draft gets closer.

2. Sherff - I don't think he's as good as his size suggest, and oline, no thanks.

Parker, would love White or Cooper but they're long gone.

2.What pick would piss you off the most?

Hickey is not Ireland...no comment.

3.Who is the one player that you would be willing to trade up for?

Cooper if he fell to the 10-12 range.

4.If Miami were to trade down, who would you target?

Perryman or Kendricks, either would solve a lot of our problems on D.

5.If Miami somehow obtained a 2nd pick in round 1 who would you want?

Gurley, possible game changer. Injury is the only reason he's not a top 5 pick.

6.What one player are you willing to reach on at 14?

DGB, risky but.....see Randy Moss.

1) I would want Kevin White at #14 if possible....which it isn't.....There are several players that are likely to be there that we addressed in the other thread I would be happy with.

2) Randy Gregory

3) Kevin White....depending on how far and what the compensation was.


4)Malcolm Brown...Eddie Goldman as a backup plan....or Jalen Collins....or Melvin Gordon/Todd Gurley

5)Kevin White

1) my personal favorite to pick at #14 would be a reach just at where our spot is, but ILB- Eric Kendricks (saying this if Kevin White/Amari Cooper wasnt there) G- Brandon Scherff is in back of my mind too.

2) i'd be very irked if a DGB, Dupree, type player that is question marked or needs a lot of work and development is picked. (or maybe a Godron due to RB depth for our need)

3) i wouldnt trade up for anyone due to us needing to fill many voids and the depth at those positions in the draft... we need our picks.

4) trade down could be great for us... we can target ILB- Eric Kendricks still, DT (Malcom Brown, Carl Davis, Xavier cooper) and CB (Kevin Johnson, Jalen Collins) options could also open up more for us due to obtaining an extra higher pick possibly!!!

5) if we got a 2nd pick in round run... same answers as in question 4... but I should also add in the OG positions and names like Scherff, Collins, there as well.

6) player to reach on at #14: would definitely be ILB- Eric Kendricks once again. CB- Trae Waynes i also wouldnt mind i think he could fit our scheme. DT- Malcom Brown also not bad

- where in the round? If it's still under 20 then Jaelin Strong. Late first then Ifo Ekpre-Olamu

6.What one player are you willing to reach on at 14?
- Probably Gurley. RB isn't top priority but if he's there he's a game changer.

1. Gurley -- just think he would make this running attack awesome and that the Dolphins would be able to dictate the run. Love Gurley.
2. Not sure.
3. I wouldn't trade up for anyone in this draft.
4. In a trade down, I'd target Kendricks, Strong or Maxx Williams.
5. Would be nice to trade back into the 1st and get Strong, Williams or DGB.
6. Jalen Collins. He's really intriguing to me and I think Trae Waynes may be gone. I might also pull the trigger on Marcus Peters who reminds me of Revis.

Trae Waynes. I don't think the big 3 receivers will be there, and from what I've seen, this guy can play.

offensive line or defensive line

Kevin White or Amari Cooper if they get to 10 or 11
