I feel we need that difference maker on defense and i just don't think we will be able to keep a Channing Crowder because he's going to demand alot of money, rey has a tremendous motor and is always around the ball, if he falls to us I don't see us passing on him, Asoumga at CB with Goodman and W. Allen should make our CB's the best and don't forget Lehan coming back from injury, I think we need to build on our defense. there are only 2 WR's that have impact but they will cost us way too much(Andre Johnson and Anquan Boldin) .. love them both but very costly.

We may have a shot at James Laurinaitis, who I think would be a good choice too, but I don't think we'll be drafting an ILB in the first round. They want linemen or OLB's in the first round, so we'll likely be looking at 2nd round talent or later for any ILB's.

ummm yeah we can def forget about him he was realesed earlier this year and signed with the saints....here is the link http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=2581

Rey is probably gonna be gone in the top 15 we might have a good chance at Cushion though and since the FO is targeting D line and OLBS in the first couple of rounds Cushion is a good fit.

If we go LB, I've said since last year I'd love to see Maualuga in a Dolphin's uniform above anyone else in this years draft, but I think he's gone before pick 20. "Little Animal" Laurinaitis might be there at #25 and could play ILB or Mike. He excels at blitzing, just ask Colt McCoy.

I really don't see an impact CB or safety at #25 that we couldn't get with one of our second rounders.

I think we go OL or DL in Rd.1. Maybe Tyson Jackson DE LSU or Michael Oher OT Ole Miss.

There is a safty out of missouri I think it is who is tall big and fast, heavy hitter. Runs a 4.5 carring like 225 and 6'2.

compadre you are in dream land, you better snap back to reality. we have lots of needs, NT, FS, RT, C, LB. we cant trade up to the top 15 to get Rey. he has character issues. he was great on that D, but who wouldnt be. in another post you wanted us to trade for andre johnson, this isnt madden. what the hell makes you think that the FO will do something like that based on last season

LOL @ Micheal Other, dude is a top 5 pick, get real!
o and BTW Luaranitis is the most overrated player in the draft, cant shead blocks adn dissapears in any game that matters.

moore wont make it too us, for the simple fact that mays is staying in school and now moore is the number one saftey and like the number 3 DB on the board

What makes you think the Raiders are going to let Aso go?

Not to mention I see him SUCKING in the 3-4 simply because he has problems shedding blocks.

As for Rey Maualuga . . . One thing I like about him is that he brings a tuffness to that Linebacker crew and he FLIES around the ball. He does overpursue plays . . . and that is a HATE that fin fans have with Crowder. He has gotta be coached out of that, but his instincts may not allow him to.

He definitely has gotta be considered if he makes it to 25 . . . but I much rather have Brandon Spikes if he is available (if he declares). . . simply because he is better in coverage and has better instincts IMO.

Both Rey and Spikes fit the 3-4 much better than Lauranitis would.

Oher will be gone . . . too talented of a OT not to be selected in the top 15. Would be an unreal steal if he slipped to us.

But u mentioned a name that alot of people are sleeping on . . . Tyson Jackson. Prototype 3-4 DE . . . and u figure we wouldn't address DLine considering Merling and Langford . . . but I still think there is an outside shot at us moving Merling to SOLB . . . so he could be a factor as well. So much will be determined by Free Agency and what the Fins do.

I agree with CB, this is a DEEP class at CB with the kid from Utah and now the kid from Georgia declaring. These guys are first round talents next year . . . I'm starting to think we take one on the first day.

Raiders will give up Aso . . . for 2 #1's
That still might not get it done. One of the reasons they released DeAngelo Hall was to free up money to re-sign Aso to a long term deal.
