Here's what I got when picking for us

1.OG Forrest Lamp-Western Kentucky
2.DE Jordan Willis-Kansas State
3.CB Sidney Jones-Washington
5.TE Bucky Hodges-Virginia Tech
5.LB Blair Brown-Ohio
5.TB Chris Logan-North Carolina
7.DT Josh Tupou-Colorado

Thoughts?

I know Willis and Jones will both probably go before those picks, but it would be nice if Willis fell a little and Jones could be sat on PUP and be the eventual replaement for Maxwell.

I agree that Willis is going before the 54 spot.....like way before. If we want him we'll have to take him at 22 or maybe move down a few spots and get him in the late 20's

Ozzy rules!!

I tried different combinations, and I felt like posting the most controversial one

That would be wonderful...but I seriously doubt Jordan Willis gets far out of the first round....and Sidney Jones will likely be long gone by our third round pick.

I could live with that, even though it would mean another year of tough LB play.

We're not going to be able to fix all holes in this draft. Hoping for some post-draft cuts for 1 year fillers.

You think so with Sidney? Even with a serious injury that will sideline him next season. Yes that draft would be a beauty. I know a lot like Jordan Willis but lets be honest. There's always a chance someone falls. There's going to be a really good pass rusher available with our 2nd pick. We all know how the draft works. Some dudes will be picked in the first that we thought were sure fire rd 1 picks. And some will fall to the 2nd. I think Willis will be an early 2nd. Just my opinion

I began like this...NOLA, I accept your conditions:

This is how our board could have looked without the Carroo debacle:

Sign me up for that. Love it.

I got Cunningham, Willis, Asiata, XWood, Sprinkle, Banner, Ebukam, Luke

Tried later and got Njoku, Willis, Asiata, Milano, E. Jackson, J. Dunkee, Yearby

1. Barnett, DE
2. Bowser, LB
3. Asiata, G
5. Elder, CB
5. Johnson, S
5. Saubert, TE
7. Coley, WR

That's using CBS rankings from last Tuesday. I've probably done hundreds of these for fun, lol. Every Tuesday they update the big sites.

First-Pick is also pretty good as you can trade for free. It gets really unrealistic, but you can use the value charts and keep it realistic if you'd like. Otherwise, you can easily trade down 2-3 times in the first round and end up with four second round picks.

Willis is oddly always there at 54 using CBS. I get Barnett at 22 a lot too. I'm almost certain Willis goes top 40 at the very least and Barnett goes 9-15.
