Quarterbacks:
1. Sam Keller Nebraska 6’3†241
Began his college career at Arizona State where he backed up Andrew Walter but transferred in '06 amid controversy after losing his starting job to Rudy Carpenter. Missed a lot of time due to injuries and broke his collarbone his senior season. Arrested for disturbing the peace in '07. Still needs time to develop, but has some physical tools to work with. Could surprise if he can stay healthy.

2. Ryan O’Hara Central Oklahoma 6’6†235 lbs.
Ryan O'Hara is one of the true sleepers in this draft. He has the prototypical size of an NFL quarterback and great mobility to complement his build. Unlike Colt Brennan, he can make all of the throws. Level of competition is obviously an issue, but keep in mind that Arizona recruited him, so obviously someone saw him as a Division I-caliber talent.

Running Backs:
1. Thomas Brown Georgia 5‘8†204
Athletic and natural runner with great instincts and vision. Tough runner that can be an inside / outside threat. Is a quick runner w/avg. speed(if you want to call 4.5 avg.)and good hands. Can be a weapon out of the backfield and can be a return man. He doesn't have all the physical tools you look for but is just a good football player. Lot of people believe he will outperform his draft slot if he can manage to stay healthy. Profiles as a third down back and kick returner.

2. Xavier Omon N.W.Missouri 5’11†228
Could also potentially project to fullback in the NFL. Division II's leading rusher in 2007 and led his team to the National Championship game. Straight ahead runner who is a jack-of-all-trades but master of none. Multi-dimensional runner that could make a roster and contribute in a number of different ways. Was dominant at his level and has emerged as one of the best small school prospects in the 2008 NFL Draft.

3. Lex Hilliard Montana 5-11 231
Also projects as a potential fullback. Missed the 2006 season with a torn ACL. Depending on which team he lands with he could either be a short-yardage running back or a multi-dimensional fullback. Good all-around RB/FB. Level of competition is the only question.

4. Ryan Torain Arizona St. 6-0 222
JUCO transfer from Butler Community College. Senior season ended due to a foot injury that required surgery. Looked like a solid mid-round prospect before he got hurt so if he can fully recover some team could get a steal in the later rounds.

Wide Receivers:
1. Arman Shields Richmond 6‘0†194
Had his senior season cut short by a knee injury so he could be undervalued after not playing much in '07. He had a great Scouting Combine ( finished in the top ten at his position in all seven of the main events ).

2. Pierre Garcon Mount Union 6’0†210
He was a division III standout. Was a member of the '06 National Champion 4x100 outdoor track relay squad. Played in the Texas vs. the Nation game and led the North in receiving. An underrated small school sleeper who dominated his level. He has the physical tools to play in the NFL.

3. Shaheer McBride Delaware St. 6’1†205
Good hands w/great body control and ball skills. He is a physical and aggressive WR, who plays faster than he times. He can get off the line well and beat the jam. Very good production during his 4yr. college career. Sat out in 2003 to concentrate on academics. He is the D.S.U. record holder for receptions and yards. Tied for the career touchdown mark with former NFL great John Taylor.

4. Steve Johnson Kentucky 6'2'" 210
Terrific natural athlete...Very good size and bulk with long arms...Quick and plays faster than he times...Outstanding leaper...Great ball skills and body control...Big play threat who came through in the clutch...Still improving and has some upside. Johnson was a deep threat in college that could become one in the NFL as well. His 32½" inch vertical means he can jump over shorter CBs. At 6’2â€, 210 lbs. he has good size to go over the middle as well. Johnson could develop into being a quarterback's go-to guy. Actually outperformed his more highly publicized teammate and fellow prospect Keenan Burton.

Tight End
1. Mike Peterson NW Missouri St. 6‘2†247
Good athlete w/above average timed speed. He has reliable hands w/good ball skills and body control. Very tough, aggressive and competitive. He gives terrific effort as a blocker. he is a hard worker with a non-stop motor.

2.Tom Santi Virginia 6’3†250
Played tight end and fullback in college and could also be an H-Back at the next level so he's versatile. He's not flashy but he's a solid all-around player who does everything well, nothing great. He has reliable hands, is a good route runner and an above average blocker. Has a high football I.Q. He's tough and durable w/a great motor. He was a team leader.

Offensive Tackle
1. Brandon Keith Northern Iowa 6’5†343
He was at Oklahoma in 2003 but quit the team and went to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College in 2004. He was a member of the Sooners football team again in 2005 but did not see action. He missed some time with a knee injury in 2005. A right tackle who could also project to guard at the next level. Is mobile enough to play out in space or be stout at the point of attack. Chad Rinehart gets more ink but Keith has better physical tools and just might end up being the better pro.

2. Demetrius Bell, Northwestern State (LA), 6'5" 301lbs
Excellent size with the frame to get even bigger...An outstanding athlete...Is light on his feet...Quick with terrific agility and balance..Mobile enough to work in space and get to the second level..Really excels in pass protection...Has a ton of upside. Was primarily a basketball player early in his college career and only dedicated himself to the gridiron in 2007...Was a defensive end in '05 and then moved to the offensive line in '06...The definition of a developmental prospect and he'll require a lot of patience but has the physical tools you look for.

Offensive Guard
1. Kerry Brown Appalachian St. 6‘6“ 305
He was a two-time Division I-AA All-American. A great small school prospect who has the physical tools along with the intangibles you look for in an Offensive Lineman. Very underrated who somehow didn't receive an invitation to the '08 Scouting Combine. He showed real well at the Texas vs. The Nation game. There is a good possibility that he'll start in the NFL.

2. David Hale Weber St. 6‘6“ 314
Spent two years in the Dominican Republic on a L.D.S. Church mission. Projects to guard at the next level. He is effective as both a run and pass blocker. Played most of the '06 with a nagging back problem. Another jack-of-all-trades but, master of none. But his intangibles help make up for that.

3. Chad Rinehart Northern Iowa 6'5" 320
Could also project outside to tackle at the next level...Redshirted in '03 and then went on to become a four-year starter at left tackle..Has all the physical tools and most of his flaws can be corrected...One of this drafts elite small school prospects.

Defensive Tackle
1. Maurice Murray New Mexico St. 6‘3†334
He has excellent size and bulk with long arms. Strong and powerful w/good speed and quickness. Plays with great pad level and leverage that allows him to penetrate and get pressure. Does a nice job against the run. He offers a lot of versatility and has yet to reach his potential.

2. Lionel Dotson Arizona 6’4†296
If Dotson played for a higher profile team, he likely would be characterized by many as one of the more intriguing middle round defensive tackles in this class. Dotson, 6-4, 296 pounds, has the size teams are looking for inside and has the combination of lateral quickness, tenacity, and hand play I look for in a developmental defensive tackle. He needs to add strength to his lower body, as he too often is driven off the ball, but he improved throughout his career at Arizona and enjoyed a strong week of practice at the East-West Shrine game. At his size, he also projects nicely outside in the 3-4 scheme. Dotson may not be flashy, but he plays with a high motor player and has legitimate upside.

Defensive End
1. Brian Johnston Gardner-Webb 6‘5†274
He's got size and bulk with the frame to get bigger. A good athlete w/good timed speed and is very quick. Relentless with a non-stop motor w/a strong a good bull rusher. Began his college career as an outside linebacker in 2004 and moved to defensive end in 2005. Two-time Division I-AA All-American.

2. Marcus Dixon Hampton 6-4 292
Has excellent size and bulk with a huge frame. Consequently, he is very strong and powerful. Stout at the point of attack and does a terrific job against the run. He has a non-stop motor. He was slated to attend Vanderbilt out of high school but was sent to prison for 15 months for having sexual relations with a minor, although the conviction was later overturned when the Georgia Supreme Court ruled the sex was consensual. The case attracted media attention and was featured on programs such as Oprah and HBO's Real Sports...Could realistically play defensive end in either a 4-3 or a 3-4 scheme and could even move inside.

3. Kurt Hout Ferris St. 6‘1 280
He has a solid frame. Strong w/a terrific motor. He pursues well and has a burst to close. He is stout at the point of attack ...Intense and competitive...Smart with decent awareness.. Is nasty...Offers some versatility. Has played both defensive end and defensive tackle...Spent the first three years of his college career at Northern Colorado.. Transferred in '06 after a fight in which he hit a teammate over the head with a beer bottle...He isn't flashy but can be an effective player with the right team....His best fit might be at end in a 3-4 scheme.

Outside LineBacker
1. Kroy Biermann Montana 6‘3 250
Smart with good instincts and awareness...Active with a great motor...Does a terrific job in pursuit and has a burst to close...Won the Buck Buchanan Award which is given to the nation's outstanding Division I-AA defensive player...Prolific small school prospect who dominated his level...Can project as a strongside linebacker or a situational pass rushing defensive end in a 43 defense or an outside linebacker in a 34 scheme.

2. Vince Redd Liberty 6’6â€255
Vince Redd started his career at the University of Virginia when Coach Danny Rocco recruited him. Prior to the 2006 season, Redd left Virginia to follow coach Rocco, and is glad he did. Not only was he the runner up for all conference player of the year, but he did it while just playing one season with Liberty. This 6-foot-6, 255 pound linebacker runs with incredible speed and has the quickness that allowed the Flames defense to confuse opposing offenses. He was the heart and sole for the Flames defense

Inside LineBacker
1. Jameel McClain Syracuse 6‘1“ 249
Decent size and bulk...Good strength...Pretty good pass rusher.. Great tackler with some power...Is physical and aggressive...Uses his hands well...Very active with a non-stop motor...Smart with nice awareness...Versatile…Profiles as a two down run thumper.. Developmental project who could be a perfect fit inside in a 3-4 scheme.

CornerBack
1. Antwaun Molden Eastern Kentucky 6‘1“ 198
Very good size and bulk with long arms...A terrific natural athlete...Excellent timed speed with a burst to close...Has quick feet...Able to flip his hips and run with just about anyone...Is very self-assured with a short memory...Offers some versatility… Also ran track at EKU... An intriguing small school sleeper with ideal triangle numbers. He may not be a sleeper anymore.

2. Zack Bowman Nebraska 6’0†197
Was one of the top JUCO prospects in the nation prior to arriving in Lincoln...Redshirted in 2006 after tearing his left ACL during fall practice...Seriously considered entering the 2007 NFL Draft, even though he had not played in over a year, before ultimately heading back to school for his senior season..Tore his right patellar tendon during spring practice in 2007...Has all the physical tools you look for, at least he did before all the injuries hit..If he can get back to where he was a couple of years ago some team could get a 1st round talent late in the draft...Low Risk / High Reward, Boom or Bust type who just might be worth taking a flyer on.

Safety
1. Bobbie Williams Bethune-Cookman 6‘0“ 214
A great natural athlete...Excellent size and bulk...Playmaker with good hands and ball skills...Good leaper...Is physical and aggressive...Supports the run well...Plays with a nasty demeanor.. Very active with a terrific motor...Has a ton of experience. Has the physical tools to play at the next level and certainly looks the part on paper.. Nice developmental prospect,

2. Pig Brown Missouri 5‘11†198
Adequate size and bulk...A team leader and captain...Aggressive and has a great motor...Reliable tackler...Can deliver the big hit...Tough and physical...Does a nice job versus the run...Quick...Playmaker in the secondary...Hard worker.. Productive…Ruptured his right Achilles tendon late in the '07 season so if he can fully recover some team just may get themselves a nice late round steal.

I would love to get Kroy Biermann, LB, from Montana. I saw Keller play for ASU before he transferred to Nebraska....I wish I could say he was going to be a nice find, but I just don't see him playing in the NFL. Ryan Torain, was really good at ASU before he got hurt...he has very nice speed....hopefully he will recover from his injuries. Torain went to ASU (my school) by the way, not Arizona.

I hope we get:

Xavier Omon N.W.Missouri 5’11” 228
Pierre Garcon Mount Union 6’0” 210
Kerry Brown Appalachian St. 6‘6“ 305
Maurice Murray New Mexico St. 6‘3” 334
Brian Johnston Gardner-Webb 6‘5” 274
Vince Redd Liberty 6’6”255
Jameel McClain Syracuse 6‘1“ 249
Bobbie Williams Bethune-Cookman 6‘0“ 214

I love me some sleepers, stock up on those late rounders with tradedown's

Danny Lansanah ILB Connecticut 6'1" 250
2007: All-Big East Conference first-team choice…Served as defensive team captain, leading a squad that allowed only 19.0 points per game (14th in the nation) and 194.0 yards passing (17th nationally)…Named the team's Defensive Most Valuable Player…Moved to middle linebacker, leading the team with a career-high 121 tackles (49 solos)…His average of 9.31 tackles per game was good for third in the conference…Added two sacks for minus 14 yards and led the squad with fourteen stops for losses of 49 yards, the tenth-best season total in school history…Also caused and recovered a fumble…Deflected three passes and intercepted four others for 77 yards (19.2 avg) in returns, including a touchdown…Had at least ten tackles in five games.

That writeup on the DT Murray sounds good... haven't heard anything on him before.

Joe Mays ILB North Dakota State 5'11" 245
Mays has the physical tools to get a serious look from the NFL, but small school linebackers traditionally don't make an easy transition to the NFL. He has the raw talent, but it may take some time to develop. His ceiling is as an NFL starter, and as a mid-round pick he is a low-risk, potentially high-reward prospect.

Doug Legursky...Marshall...center /guard
6'3''-312lbs,36 reps on the bench,
4.79 40 yard dash(I would love to know if this was a legit time
because at over 300lbs and running a 4.79 is UNBELIEVABLE.

He allowed 1 qb sack and 1 pressure in 432 passing plays.

A little more info regarding Bryan Johnston DE...6'5''...274lbs

In 74 plays versus the run he held the opposition to 9 total yards!!
for an average of .12 yards average
He had the same 10 yard time as Darren McFadden

May be worth a runner come 6th round if he is around

Thanks for the info:up:

Marcus Dixon can flat out PLAY but with everything that happened to him with that case I just don't know if a team will even be picking him up.

Arman Shields will be a starting wideout for what ever team drafts him by his 2nd year. The guy actually has more POTENTIAL then any reciever in the draft IMO. Not saying he is the best reciever in the draft, but he definetly has the most potential.

How does one measure potential???

Physical skills is how you measure potential. He has more physical skills overall then any reciever in the draft. But there are a lot of factors to way out to see if he could maximize them. 1st, you have to want to be the best, 2nd be put inthe right situation to succeed, and 3rd have a coaching staff pushing you to get better. If Arman Shields has those 3 things, in a few years we will be saying that he was the best reciever in this draft.

If he played at a big time school(Florida, LSU, USC, Ohio St, etc..) he would be a 2nd round pick at worst. But because he played at Richmond and was injured most of 2007 he could fall to the 4th or 5th round.
