If there is one thing that jumped out at me early about the 2010 NFL Draft, it is that the senior Wide Receiver class lacked pizazz. Help may be on the way from the juniors, but there are not many sexy size/speed stories amongst the experienced seniors.

With that in mind, taking a look at Taylor Price of the Ohio Bobcats was a surprising pleasure. Price is listed at 6′1″ and 212 lbs, and has supposedly in the past been clocked at 4.36 in the 40 yard dash.

This is just a way of highlighting talented players that exist in the draft that may be outside of the average fan's radar screen.

Price is considered a middle round prospect.

Thanks - i always appreciate the insight from the three of you...you may be right, you may be wrong, but it is always your hard work and opinion....not some cut and paste job

how do u get to those parts on that site? I have spent days looking for stuff and its always empty lol...how do you find player spotlights?

I compiled a list on Dec. 1st of about 8 senior WR's that I singled out and really impressed me....and Taylor Price was on that list...

I pretty much agree with this assessment on him....doesn't sink his hips in and out of breaks like you want and isn't a polished route runner.....but he still manages to get good seperation...and should be able to get it more consistently with more polish and coaching in that aspect...

What I liked most about him was that he COMPETES every play....be it blocking or catching a pass....he hustles...and he's not overwhelmed by competition...he appears to like it...

He'll probably run in the 4.4 range...and I'm absolutely a fan of his build and size/speed ratio....

However, what I usually like to pay attention to at the Senior Bowl drills will be how he handles press coverage against NFL caliber DB's....that's something that I haven't seen him faced with yet....and he'll get plenty of NFL coaching on how to use his hands better to defeat it in one-on-one drills in Mobile...

Reminds me a lot of Earl Bennett as a prospect....who I liked coming out of Vanderbilt....

Sorry my man. We're trying to put up new content. This one just went up today. From now on I plan to try and come up with one Draft Spotlight a day. Ambitious, but worthwhile. Meanwhile, Con's put up some position rankings of his.

It takes a while to get all of our thoughts on paper and out there. I'm still creating videos like a mad man.

Keep up the good work, guys. Your contributions are invaluable and are very much appreciated.

That's the place to look for our latest articles. We don't have a section quite yet dedicated STRICTLY to what videos we've made. I'll work on that.

If you mouse over POSITION RANKINGS you'll have the option to mouse over 2010, and then you'll see a bunch of positions. It would appear that Con has gotten all of the position rankings up. Didn't know he did that, kudos to him.

We don't have a MOCK DRAFT yet of course, but how could we as we still don't know which juniors are out?

Eventually under the POSITION RANKINGS we'll have all of the players be clickable so that you can get our scouting reports on all of them.

As rrrrphin correctly pointed out, we may be right, we may be wrong, but all of our opinions are genuine, fully home grown (not copied from anyone else), and GENERALLY well researched...otherwise we wouldn't be saying it.

Personally I'd like to add like a Q&A section to the top.

Con and I will personally be attending Shrine practices this year. So we'll probably have some stuff up about that. We probably won't have the luxury of video of those, like the Draft Guys TV had last year and the year before...we just don't have the equipment. It'll be our eyes.

It was off line for a while. Had issues to deal with (personal) etc.

We are working pretty fevorishly with this, and I'm updating my rankings just so people have things to examine and discuss, and we'll highlight players, break them down etc. and generally try to come up with more than ever before.

CK and I will be at the Shrine Game this year, and we'll look to blog live from the practice, which is not aired on TV like the Senior Bowl.

that is what i really look forward to...all those cutups you've done on players being a click away for us...

either way good stuff

Despite all the work we're putting in - and we're REALLY putting it in: I'm rarely in bed before 2.30am this past 6 weeks watching Bowl games, tapes that I've paid for on DVD, games downloaded, writing notes, speaking to people, researching and I know the other guys are just the same - this is still a work in progress and probably will be for 3 or 4 years till we work out exactly what we want and what the people reading our stuff want. But I have no doubt that we'll get there. No doubt. This sounds boastful and it's not meant to be, but we are building good contacts, be it with scouts, with NFL people and with the players themselves. Hopefully we'll have some neat things involving players pre-draft. Chris and Richard, as CK mentioned will be at the Shrine Practices which for us is awesome and the contacts and the ability to get our names further out there is terrific. More difficult for me to get there, but that's the plan for next year and the thing is, I DO have access to video equipment. I do have access to audio recording equipment and we can set up podcasts and audio boos and things like that down the line.

It will come to pass and I hope you can stay with us for the ride.

Interesting/aggressive/tough/gritty looking guy. What round are they thinking this guy is going to go? Maybe 3rd or 4th? I had to disagree with thee article where he says he looks the same size as Berry, i think he looked a bit taller but its hard to make a judgement on the angle and time allowed to see it. Anyways thanks! Nice video

I thought he was about the same size to maybe an inch taller, but it's not a significant size difference to where you think Price has an advantage against a guy of Berry's size. So it's more of a height class than a guestimate of him being 5 feet, 11.5 inches or something like that.

This is a guy I have on my list. 6'1" 196 and 4.35/40 looks nice. Just check out his mental aspects and if he is anything close to Hartline there then we could get another sleeper.

Guys I am also interested in are:

Kelton Tindal-Newberry 6'3 195lb 4.25 40
Jacoby Ford- smaller 5'10 but also 4.35/40 185lbs but not skinny
Marcus Easley- 6"2 216 but 4.4/40-mental check on him

Other than the top prospects (Bryant, Benn, Lafell, Tate, Gilyard) I dont really want to end up with a big guy who is slower and unable to break off the LOS or get seperation.
