I've been checking this site out a lot lately. I've been interested to see how their risers and fallers have compared to what I have read and heard.

Anyway, they updated their mock, but they are also in a draft simulation at the moment that looks pretty interesting. Here are our picks:

1. (9) Brady Quinn
2a. (40) Arron Sears
2b. (60) Jason Hill
3. (71) Samson Satele
4. (108) Kenny Scott
6. (181) Johnnie Harline
7a. (219) Tony Taylor
7b. (238) Selvin Young

Interestingly enough, the Saints' 6th round pick that we just picked up is Zach Latimer, who is a guy they have had us taking in previous mocks.

seems like they have the fins figured out pretty good because that is an excellent draft. although I believe we have #113 and not 108 but could be wrong.

I already posted about this earlier: http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/showthread.php?t=190136

And the Draft Tek mock isn actually a mix now. Everything in orange is the results of the SBNation one they are helping to run, in which the bloggers for each team play the GM and they make the picks for their respective team, trades and everything can be worked out too. It's not just one dude making an entire mock, it's more like real life where one person is responsible for one team. Everything AFTER the orange they are continuing to just do their own mock, adjusting everytime a new pick is made by the SBNation mock.

And for fun . . . here is how I would choose based on their player rankings:

1. Brady Quinn
2a. Tony Ugoh
2b. Ryan Kalil (I have no idea how they have him falling to the 3rd)
3. Lamar Woodley
4. Courtney Brown
6a. Garrett Wolfe
6b. Steve Breaston
7a. Matt Toeaina
7b. Quintin Echols

My bad, Agent. I thought you posted the 4/1 update before they had us taking Quinn. Yeah, I think the SBNation mock simulation is a great idea. Although, does anyone really think Detroit is going to lure Tampa into trading up two spots for Johnson? Did I miss something? Did Detroit trade something to Tampa other than draft picks?

And let me just say that I would immediately sign Stanley Doughty and let he and Echols fight it out as our developmental NTs.

Tony Ugoh will not be good in the NFL.. There are a multitude of linemen I'd rather pick over him.. Ugoh's attitude sucks, there have been many reports.. And shows too much laziness at times..

That is the last thing this team needs.. What we need is the mean and nasty types on the O-line , guys who want to better themselves and have alot of character ... And those guys need to be picked before the lazy and unmotivated Tony Ugoh..

Drew Stanton pick number 66 in the 3rd round
I seriously doubt it

and Kalil...PLEASE he will go much sooner than that

No joke, I couldn't imagine a draft going much better than that as far as addressing needs, and getting great talent with most every pick too.
DS would love the draft no matter who was picked, as long as the #1 guy was quinn. and i agree.

That would be a draft that would have us Phins fans celebrating like we haven't in God knows how long. But....when reality hits, I dont see Quinn, nor Satele available in those slots. But, we can dream!!

Well, NFL Live today reported it was a possibility also, so it might not be too far off. Not that NFL Live knows everything, but they must've gotten word on something, because they say "reports say TB is interested in the Lions #2 if Johnson doesn't go to the raiders". Of course it doesn't mean it will happen, but SBNation's team reps don't have such a bad idea on their hands.

What if this was a gran sceme for the past 4 years by Mueller? He knew Johnson was going to be an insane talent, and he knew they (Detroit)would always suck, so he decided to keep taking WRs in round 1, so when the Johnson draft came around (this year), everyone would want him but think the Lions are going to take him, so it would incite some crazy offers to move up?

*I'm kidding off course, but it's just fun to break the monotony with some crazy scenerios here and there*

Also, IDK why they had Kalil in the 3rd, the last one I checked (like a day before you posted) had him going BEFORE us in round two, so somwhere between 33 and 40.
