Allow me to remind my fellow Dolphin fans that what really matters is the record at the end of the season, not who the draft pundits THINK we should have drafted. How correct were they when 25 teams passed on Dan Marino?
NONE of these draft picks on any team have played one down of NFL football. They all have "POTENTIAL", but none of them have produced one play or one victory yet.
We will not know the TRUE value of this draft for 2-3 years. Don't get caught up in the media frenzy. Who cares what Mel Kiper or anybody elses thinks. If Mel was so great he'd actually be a GM on some team and sending them to the Super Bowl year-after-year.
Let's hold our fire and wait to see what actually happens on GAME DAY - not draft day to assess this draft. Then, we can cheer or jeer this draft.
