What is everyone's thoughts on drafting players who are requiring surgery and may need quite a few months of recovery time. You can normally snag them a round or two later and still have the earlier round potential. With us trying to lose a lot more games than we win this year, it would seem to be a good idea to take a flyer on a couple of these guys and let them sit most of the year and have them ready to go next year at full speed. I know that drafting players with an injury history is not usually a good idea, but I wasn't sure if someone who tore a muscle or injured something at the combine would really fit into that same box.
