The front office has repeatedly stated its desire to get "bigger, stronger faster" as each year comes. It's no secret that they key to defensive success is stopping the run first, and then the pass. This philosophy was exemplified last year by the added beef on the D-Line in the signing of Randy Starks, trading for Jason Ferguson, and adding Merling/Langford through the draft. Although these additions have served us well, I don't believe we are close to through addressing the front seven of our D. Here is a list of some guys I think have a great chance of being available and will get serious consideration in the mentioned rounds.

1. Clay Matthews Jr. - This guy is exemplifies the intangibles BP desires...not to mention he was a great player at power house school

1. Hakeem Nicks- Makes too much sense, great route runner, very good underneath. Excellent. not to mention huge hands.

2a. Michael Johnson- Once he packs on some weight (which will improve his short area quickness) he can be a great pash rushing threat. Do not under estimate the importance of his height, tipped balls cause a ton of turnovers in the NFL

2a. Jared Cook- Darkhorse pick, great red area threat.

2a. Sean Smith- Big, fast, great hands, ****y without the off-field issues. Pefect blend for a CB.

2b. Jarron Gilbert- Amazing combine numbers, great size/strength/speed.

2b. Duke Robinson- Fits the size profile, inside OL depth is always a concern. Good value.

3. Terrance Taylor- Short. Wide. Strong. Ideal stature for NT.

If I were to choose now, I see our first three rounds going something like:

1. Hakeem Nicks

2a. Michael Johnson

2b. Jarron Gilbert

3. Terrance Taylor

* Something tells me somehow, someway, Clay Matthews Jr. will be a Dolphin though.

Love it. Actually I think mine would look the same too. Although I would probably put my favorite corner Mark Parson from Ohio in front of Taylor in the third.

M.Johnson at 2a would be unbelieveable, I totally agree with you about C.Mathews he's everything BP looks for in a football player.
