bly is still reachable should we court him like we did porter...es not officially agreed to the recent trade and looks unhappy ..maybe he has to much ego and doesnt wanna be under baileys shadow u think he wants warm weather coooooooomon down mr.bly lol
 
The Redskins are trying to trade for Bly not court him.

Denver would have to trade him to us in order for us to acquire him. In other words, we would have to offer Denver something substantial for them to trade him to us.
 
We would have to give up a pick or player, but he would be a huge help opposite Will Allen.
 
He doesn't have to "agree" to the trade. He's upset because he had a big extension worked out w/ Washington, if Detroit would have traded him there. The Broncos are going to make him play out his contract which has 1 yr. left. To make him happy we'd have to give up something in trade, and then give him an extension.

I'm sorry but I live just outside St. Louis. I watched Dre Bly for the first 4 years of his career. He is completely overrated. He gambles way too much. He reminds me of Terrell Buckley.

No. By MIA showing interest in signing a FS are indications that they see Jason Allen as one of our CBs next season. Plus, we would have to use a pick to obtain Bly, as Hamlin, Johnson, and the other guy would be aquired by siging them.

first of all who cares bout his if n buts its freakin dre bly pro bowler one of the best...we could use him okay who cares if he gables we might need some of that ..ill give up a 2nd or a player for him freak it
 
I'd rather give a 2nd for Moss.. Bly is a locker room cancer, he always torches and heats all his teammates. No thanks

He will be a Skin , let him get paid that little baby.
 
We don't want or need him! He is a big mouth, locker room problem and is waaaaaaaaay overrated! I have watched him with the Lions no one is afraid of him. We have 2-3 better cb's than Bly!
 
i wouldnt give up a 2nd for bly. he is going into the last year of his contract, and you know when hes a FA hes goign to want to get nate clements money. i dont see us willing to give him as much money as the redskins. therefore, i wouldnt waste a 2nd rounder on a player taht will only be on our team for a year...he wont play hard without an extension.
 
I would love to see up have an exlposive offense again. I believe the defense will be lethal now with Porter signed. (Even though I can't stand to root for jerks like him) Its time to put money into a high powered offense.

Broncos aren't going to trade him. REgardless of if he is happy or not. Why would they break up bailey / bly

We were never players in this.

Bly apparently already had a new contract or an extension agreed upon with Washington. Similar to what Joey Harrington had with us last year before Detroit tried to trade play hard ball and trade him to Cleveland.

well i dont understand you guys ive been a fan since 91 and ive notice a pattern of blue collar nice guys coming in with some exceptions L.phillips/cox/R.williams and some others but having these type of guys made us scary ..we look like ******* lately and its why we havent made the playoffs only ZT/JT have stepped up to the plate....

some of you guys say no to bly comon regardless of anything u know hes top 5 CB in the league period ..if your a football fan u know this..

and if you are concerned bout his additude then why did we just get porter who is a headache and why would some of you be requesting moss? moss is a cancer too ...id say we give up our late 2nd for bly and our 3rd for moss...draft okoye DT 1st round give pepp a chance get stanton in the second and linemen,TE and Fb later on in the rounds...i unlike others fallow the fins and know what they need ...we have too many leaders on this team ala patriots to worry about cancers ZT/JT/Holliday will beat that *** if they cause ruckus on the team gauranteed if fins follow my plans they will be in the playoffs and scary period...IMO

steps to the playoffs

1-draft okoyi DT louisville in the 1st

2nd- QB Drew stanton

Late 2nd trade for bly..we prob would have gotten TE or CB here anyway

3rd trade for moss...we would have probably got a WR if not for moss anyway

4th RD take a TE/FB/OL watever is best available..

sign some FA OL for depth
sign Hicks for back RB and KR role
we wont need WR's or defense with these additions so will fill in the rest

Except they have viewed Hamlin/Johnson as backups which has shown how far Hamlin has fallen since getting the crap kicked outta him in Seattle. With the rumored possible trade of Hill to Carolina these guys look like the backup replacements.
